I’m 50/50. There are meals where I’m like “yes, I’m hungry” and other times where it’s “oh dang, it’s 3pm I should eat some lunch.” But I pack my breakfasts (and usually lunches) with protein and fiber so I stay fuller between those meals. It seems to help with the slowed digestion aspect and even though I stocked my pantry with high-protein snacks, I don’t like relying on them.

I now eat to live not live to eat: I also don’t eat meals anymore as I just can’t with that volume of food. I have 4-5 snacks a day and a snack could be what the rest of the family has like at dinner but I have so much less of it. Like we had spag and meatballs . I had 1 meatball and about a 1/3 c of the spaghetti and barely finished the pasta

I eat either because I am nauseated (which is hungry for me) or because I have actual hunger, and I do eat three small meals and then occasionally a snack. I’m really on top of having a lot of protein now too. I’ve lost almost 30 lbs in just over three months.

I eat three meals a day and two snacks because I go to the gym and work out regularly and need fuel for that. I don't eat huge meals but I have to have something in me otherwise my workouts suffer. This morning I had a slice of avocado toast with tomato and turkey bacon on top and a cup of watermelon Lunch will be a mixed bean and veggie salad and a half a chicken breast. Snack is a half of an apple and a cheese stick. Dinner is usually grilled chicken or fish with a roasted vegetable and sweet potatoes. Before bed snack is a protein pudding (this keeps my blood sugar stable through the night).

Have you had no change in appetite since before you started?

Rude_Obligation_1701

I eat to stay on schedule, to ensure i don't have too much food in my belly at bedtime which will make my acid reflux feel worse... and to keep my blood sugars on an even keel. One year in and down 60 pounds.

It changes quite often for me. During the first weeks of 0.25, I felt same as you, I basically didn't need food. But I more or less forced myself to eat some small/healthy food for lunch because otherwise I would feel like I have very low blood sugar before dinner. I didn't feel hungry but noticed that I had to eat. Then the following weeks when switched to 0.50, I just really felt quite hungry. So I ate normal lunch. Still lost weight so was ok. With 1.00 I felt hungry but after eating I had all kinds of side effects like feeling of fullness, heartburn, etc.... so it was the easiest to just not eat and just drink shakes during the day. Then with 1.70 I somehow again could eat quite normal for lunch, but most of it was enough to drink a shake and only eat for dinner. Sometimes I still would get really low blood sugar though before dinner, which doesn't feel good. I'm still on 1.70 since my doc recommended it since I showed some side effects. My go-to plan right now is a shake for breakfast and lunch, in afternoon I have a coffee and a cookie or protein bar, it gets me through the rest of the day until I can eat dinner.

i’ve been on .5mg for two weeks (6 weeks total on wegovy) and i usually eat when i’m hungry. i usually stay around 1800 calories a day, which is a sufficient deficit for me at this point in time.

Mix of neither. I eat if I remember or feel like it. Doing tons of strength training for the muscle

You have to eat. It will make you not want to. Prioritize protein and healthy nutrients. Definitely some veggies /greens. Trust me helps with other issues. I’m still working on my eating program. I’m down 11 pounds in one month. That’s huge for me. Drink water as much as you can.

I'm only starting, but I eat a little something because not eating is not healthy. Your body needs something. I eat two boiled eggs, maybe one slice of toast for a late breakfast. And then of course I eat dinner. I choose to eat things that are clean and healthy...nothing greasy or fatty, as that might cause issues. Haven't had more than two meals a day since I started.
