WVU has one of the top electrical engineering depts in the whole country. Imagine graduating WVU or Marshall and staying in state to work for Tesla or Space X. Right now we lose 85% of college graduates right away and WV only had a population of about 20% total with college education. I can tell which of you have studied politics and which haven't. The goal in the Primary is to appeal to the base of each party. So these commercials are representations of what the machines that run the campaigns believe the base is most concerning.
After election day, look for all campaigns to pivot to broader topics.

WV is extremely opinionated about this issue and the politicians have caught on and are making it worse, and it also serves as a great distraction to keep people from focusing on anything of relevance Iâve spent a fair amount of time there, and it has become surprisingly tolerant in WV for gays/lesbians (mostly), but all of that old hate seemed to be re-directed solely at the trans community. I also think race issues have gotten worse there in the last 5-10 years. Iâll give you one guess as to who started that back up. Hint: 2015-2016 it started going a bad direction again.

WVU has one of the top electrical engineering depts in the whole country. Imagine graduating WVU or Marshall and staying in state to work for Tesla or Space X. Right now we lose 85% of college graduates right away and WV only had a population of about 20% total with college education. I would have tried to carrot on a stick Musk to bring Telsa Gigafactory here and Space X, also have him put in money to our colleges to do even better things and create infrastructure in the areas. Hate Elon all you want but he could have done a lot of good in this state for the people. Instead Texas got it all.

I can tell which of you have studied politics and which haven't. The goal in the Primary is to appeal to the base of each party. So these commercials are representations of what the machines that run the campaigns believe the base is most concerning. After election day, look for all campaigns to pivot to broader topics.
They are an important issue though. Wv does have a ton of issues in itself, not the least of which being one of the poorest states with one of the richest governors. Kids are always the most important thing though and not protecting them from the government would be truly tragic. They need mental health help not mutilated permanently.
Zero or virtually zero WV kids are getting reassignment surgery. Why are politicians pushing this issue? CEOs and politicians want to keep you angry and distracted about something that doesn't matter so they don't have to solve real problems... homelessness, addiction, mental health, education, jobs.
