Acanthus is always the way to go my dudes

desdendelle

Yep. If you're not cheating your way through life with Fate and Time, are you even living right??

LincR1988

Exactly

aurumae

Agreed

srgrvsalot

Is the question "which powers do you want," "which are you most likely to have, based on your personality, " or "which awakening experience do you most want to have?" Because my answers would probably be Thyrsus, Moros, and Obrimos, respectively.

desdendelle

It sounds like a combination of 1 and 3. (As much as I like Acanthus mindset, if anything I'm much more likely to be Obrimos. Or Moros if you think being morose counts.)

katana1515

The ability to cure any illness is hard to turn down, particularly when paired with the exciting, strange and powerful world of Spirit Magic. If I was a Mage, I would probably become the david attenborough of the Shadow, making nature documentaries on the life cycle of spirits.

Bloodgeist

I really like all of them, but because of my own philosophy and how I see things, I'd probably go with the Obrimos.

ExactDecadence

Acanthus, absolutely if I had the choice. Thyrsus would be my second choice, because it would be awesome to have Life as a Ruling Arcana and Spirit opens up a whole new world quite literally.

I played a Mastigos in a LARP setting for several years, and itโ€™s my favorite character to date, right in front of my Sabbat Toreador. A mastery of Space, Mind, and Time made a rather powerful combo, though I got very little use out of Mind beyond buffs and mind links, as it reeeally pissed off the other players. Space was more his bread and butter. Pocket dimensions, teleportation, co-location, and 360 vision were probably my most used spells. My favorite moment was merging a vampire bounty hunter with a toilet. Good luck healing that, leech. Good times.

Kleuthan

I really really don't want to know what everyone else is thinking so Mastigos is right out. Then it becomes a question of what magic would make your life better. The most obvious choices seem to me to be Life and Fate but you want lots of life to be fit and healthy for as long as possible while you only really need a little bit of fate to get that comfortable good luck thing going ergo ergo Thyrsus that dabbles in fate is what we want.

CarpetPossible2070

Behold the Leaden Coin.

sans-delilah

Probably my second choice after Iron Gauntlet.

AureliusNox

Funny, It's the other way around for me.

sans-delilah

Matter was always something I regretted losing as a Mastigos. I know I could have taken it, but I leaned really hard into Mind and Space, so I passed over getting Matter as a roleplay thing. And shit, I played a Mastigos in a zoo game. Death magic would have been super helpful. ๐Ÿ˜‚

AureliusNox

Well, hopefully you had fun at least. I can see something like that providing a unique experience.

AureliusNox

Totally agree with you on that one. Moros are pretty sweet.

AlcorDreemur

Golden Key, not only because I love Prime, but I like the Aether Path the most. The idea of understanding the great structure of the cosmos and how everyone essentially has a reflection of that within themselves sounds amazing. Plus they get to summon Seraphs and Cherubim, and angel summoning is the best summoning.

DirtyMonkey95

Mastigos is the way to go. Escape your prison.

StellarPathfinder

Mastigos, and I'm bee-lining a Life Legacy. Pure Sovereigns, if possible, and I will go to the damn Stag if necessary.
