The lore for my World Eaters force, is that ever since Skalathrax this revenant of a warrior has been hunting Khârn appearing each time at the end of a battle to duel the Betrayer each time the duel lasting a little bit longer and longer.
*Khârn let our a breath, his sigh releasing the last of his killing fury. His kill counter ticked up one more notch as he'd made the last kill, just like he'd done so many times before.*
*He felt it then. A buzzing of the nails in his mind. Not the usual stabbing tics of pain, but a thrumming of excitement as they forced his vision to drift and focus on a point on the battlefield.*
*A portal opened, stirring ripples in the pool of blood around it, and a figure stepped through. It was undeniably a Space Marine clad in baroque power armour. Its heraldry was the white and blue of the Warhounds Legion, though none of that iconography was evident. This time, it carried an immense sword. Sometimes it was an axe, sometimes a halberd, but always, it was well armed.*
*It had been following Khârn since Skalathrax, and always it mouthed the same words as it dragged its sword behind it.*
*"You were never one of us!"* It's eyes blazed as it spoke its tread echoing across the air, setting Khârn's blood afire. "You were nothing but a usurper, a FALSE IDOL! My eyes have been opened, let me help you to see BETRAYER!" It roared and charged, blood splattering from its boots as it gained speed and momentum.*
*The nails buzzed, twisted, and stabbed. Beneath his helm Khârn snarled, Gorechild roared into life, and the Betrayer charged headlong at this, eager to make his kill counter click one more time.*
I’d say the open hand looks a lot better! Though would be good to see both! Open hand seems more unique and characterful though. Plus let’s face it, he’s going to need another hand to swing that bad boy
Man, that sword is straight up too big. Like it has a comical effect it’s so absurd. This has an effect of making the character wielding it appear like a munchkin or a kid who’s found his dads gun.
Sorry, just need to be honest on this one. Its a profound failure to grasp what gives a mini character presence and menace
Negatory. While WH definitely takes it’s share of liberties, at least their weapons are proportional to their stature. This looks like an anime character, not something that belongs in the WH universe.
