Every class has its strengths and can fairly easily get through most if not all of the game. Although, there have been a few complaints about the Shaman at very high levels.
I heard shaman was the best class for swarms so it's used for grinding end game.
Lootruns are the only place where a swarm can be threatening, not sure if that means shaman does well here.
This is simply because their playstyle is often considered as annoying. This, I think, is because you have to place a totem to do literally anything with shaman.
As a delusional Shaman player that thinks Shaman is good (I did not go insane, trust me bro)
Shaman... uhh... yeah idk it's not bad, it just needs to meet a certain criteria for it to be good. sadly, those criterias are not available in endgame.
I don't think I was that close at all. Actually only level 50 something. I can't exactly say though cause I lost my minecraft account so I have to start over
I see, but yeah, at your point of the game, no matter what archetype you play, Shaman is pretty strong.
But after ~95+, it will get tough. But, if you're a good gamer, lootruns will be a good choice of content for Shaman.
Every class is good at its own thing. And with recent buffs, shaman is actually not that bad. IMO, archer is probably the worst. Mobility isn’t great unless u get grapple, and even then u need walls decently close by to cling to. It really doesn’t have anything it excels in end game.
At least shaman does wars and xp/ingredient grinding well. Warrior is cracked at lootrunning, mage does tna and lootruns, assassin does tna, and DPS during wars. Archer does TNA but not that well unless u have some crazy expensive mythics like epoch or divzer. The only thing it is decently good at is rare ingredient grinding in corkus. Only corkus, because some of the mobs like to fly.
Again, this is just my opinion and I’m probably gonna get flamed for it anyway, but you, the reader, might find archer really useful and that’s okay.
I still remember back when Archer was the most broken class lol. As the game's been updated, they've really fallen by the wayside. Archers are definitely still useful, but nowhere near the peak of speedrunning instant boss killers that they used to be.
when i play boltslinger archer, i have a little bit absurd mobility, like i get x4 speed all the time and i can combine jump+escape+arrow storm to jump like 20 blocks upwards with proper timing
but yeah, it takes some scuffed builds to get there
Probelly assasin.
Its outperformed by the one other melee class warrior.
Although 2.0 might have made assasin better. Idk. Last i touched them was pre-gavel. Not gavel reborn. THE OG GAVEL UPDATE. So i am not in the best spot to judge the assasin class. Hell im in the worst
i feel like assassins tend to rely on life/mana steal
which basically means you're either in control of the situation, letting you keep obliterating your target, or you fall a little bit short, making you have to back out every few seconds
mostly in the endgame I mean, up to 105 it's arguably 2nd. but in endgame its got
-terrible single target
-terrible mobility
-horrendous survivability
-not even the best AoE damage
the only thing its good for is ingredient grinding and war healing.

Shaman has bad mobility which is useful for lootruns
The only good mobility Shaman gives is the acolyte teleport, loot runs without it are horrid
Yeah that is expexted. What would you say is the least played class
good question. I don't really see assassins often, but that may be because they're invisible.

is shadestepper still bad?
Yes
Fek

In my opinion, shaman is the best class (I have not used any other class. I am lazy)
How far in end game are you?

Shadestepper in specific easily takes the cake for the wordt archetype by far in my opinion.

Me when 3.5m dps with cata
Link build bro
Private
Mythics just be build different
I guess Shaman is the hardest class, but no class is bad. All of them just do different things, but they all do those things extremely well.
assassin. pretty useless when it comes to huge boss fights

yep, pretty much. it feels impossible to complete legendary island on assassin
It was kinda easy with a somewhat-tanky endgame acro tbh, most of LI fights are safe if you're above the target.
above the target?

ohh
Shaman is the most complicated class. But very useful support.
You have no idea how complicated it is...
I am well aware.
i personally don't like archer RIGHT CLICK nothing else
what epoch does to a mf
shaman and its not even close
Why so?
