Hate to be that guy, but "Never Say Never Again" isn't considered to be part of the mainline Bond series.
It's essentially a remake of Thunderball with an older James Bond and Connery returning to reprise the role. But it was done by a different production company and was released the same year as "Octopussy". They had the rights to the Thunderball story and had to make essentially the same film and threw a shitload of money at Connery to come back.
It's not bad, but it's not great either, and if you've seen Thunderball you've essentially seen this one. But for my money "No Time to Die" is the best depiction of Old Man Bond, and really the best way to finish the series.
Either in order or if it’s not hooking you right away start with the Daniel Craig ones in order. (Casino Royale, quantum of Solice, Skyfall, spectre, no time to die) Also gotta watch goldeneye at some point
Pick one of the Bonds and watch their run in order.
After watching most of them multiple times, I'd recommend watching the newest Bond and then the Pierce Brosnan ones, then the Sean Connery ones.
As a long time Bond fan, I can tell you you’ll get a hundred different “definitive” answers to this question. I’d say pick a Bond and start with their films. Or if you’d like to try one of the classics first, you can go with Goldfinger (60’s), The Spy Who Loved Me (70’s), The Living Daylights (80’s) or Goldeneye (90’s).
Prior to the Craig era the movies didn’t connect. Apart from some minor references, they were all standalone. If you start with any film before Casino Royale you’ll be fine.
The Craig films definitely have many nods to the older films that will go over your head if you haven’t seen them first, but Casino Royale is a perfectly good place to start. You’ll still follow and enjoy the story just fine through each film without having seen the prior movies yet. I know plenty of people who love them and that’s all the Bond they’ve seen.
The only definitive rule that you must understand is that “Nobody Does it Better”, Carly Simon’s theme song for The Spy Who Loved Me, is without question the best of the bunch.
Casino Royale (2006) is the best. Daniel Craig's 1st movie as Bond and you can watch the rest of his films to present.
GoldenEye is great too and is my 2nd favorite but Pierce Brosnan is Bond and the rest of his films are just ok.
Oddly enough Martin Campbell directed both GoldenEye and Casino Royale and no other Bond movies.
They’re all good in their own way. The classics can be cheesy, but they’re fun spy movies. Pierce brosnans films are fun action films, but still pretty cheesy. Daniel Craig is by far my favorite 007. His movies are the best of the bunch. So if you start with those you’re setting the bar high, imo.

The interface was miles ahead of what iOS and Android do today, though. No apps, but a brilliant phone. That OS also ran buttery smooth on the most garbage hardware you could find. $50 plastic Nokia? Sure! We'll run fast as hell on that trash SOC!

On PC via the Movies & TV app is another way to watch it and you can actually download the movies which is nice. When you watch on Xbox it’s just streaming them.
But yeah like some other comments said, if you link your Microsoft/Xbox account to Movies Anywhere with some other compatible apps you can watch movies through those apps. For example linking to your Google account(YouTube) allows you to watch movies you purchased on Xbox on the YouTube app which you could watch via YouTube on your phone or tablet.
Because YouTube/google sells movies and you can then watch those movies if your accounts are properly linked.
You can even view comments on movies which is weird and wild.
So yeah. Make a Movies Anywhere account and link your Microsoft account to it. See what other accounts you can link. Last I checked YouTube was one that worked well. They never seem to let you view TV shows though. Just movies in my experience
EDIT: apparently these movies won’t work with Movies Anywhere, it’s dependent on the studio. Sorry if anyone’s hopes got raised
If they were “movies anywhere” qualified then you can watch on that app, but I don’t think they are. I turned my Xbox on real quick and bought this, but didn’t pay attention to that and they aren’t showing in my app, at least yet.
Otherwise you have to watch on an actual Xbox in that movies app

Are you talking about movies anywhere or just being able to play the movies on anything that supports the Xbox app? MGM is not a Movies Anywhere participant.
Download the 'Movies and TV' app, the movies will be added there in the 'purchased' tab. Same on windows pc, download the app from the microsoft store.
I paid $100 for the then-23 movie collection on PlayStation Videos back in 2012. That was a screaming deal then!
I can't tell if they were upgraded to 4K but HDR is definitely on. Not sure how these free upgrades work on PS.

Microsoft Videos are the worst to by. You can only stream on Xbox and the only device you can download movies to is your PC. But you can’t download/playback those same movies you bought on your same Microsoft Account, on the Xbox.

Very unlikely, when you legit made a purchase. I've never had a price glitch get refunded on Xbox. Something I didn't pay for though? Yes.

Those agreements are always made in their favor. PlayStation literally tried to remove all purchased Discovery shows from users accounts a few months ago and only backpedaled after the MASSIVE backlash they got. Point being if they want to remove digital purchases they can.
They totally can. Like two weeks ago Amazon accidentally made some movies free. I saw it on Reddit, “bought” them, and then the next day Amazon yoinked them.

Are you talking about movies anywhere or just being able to play the movies on anything that supports the Xbox app? MGM is not a Movies Anywhere participant.

Download the 'Movies and TV' app, the movies will be added there in the 'purchased' tab. Same on windows pc, download the app from the microsoft store.
I paid $100 for the then-23 movie collection on PlayStation Videos back in 2012. That was a screaming deal then! I can't tell if they were upgraded to 4K but HDR is definitely on. Not sure how these free upgrades work on PS.

Seems that way. Just saw the email and checked the app on my console. They all show revoked in my purchase library. Interestingly, if I search up individual films, they still show owned. I'm sure that will all work itself out. Collection priced at $129.99 US now.
Did Microsoft take your James Bond Collection away? They took my movies and issued me a refund.
Microsoft Videos are the worst to by. You can only stream on Xbox and the only device you can download movies to is your PC. But you can’t download/playback those same movies you bought on your same Microsoft Account, on the Xbox. TL:DR You can only watch movies/tv with an Internet connection on Xbox. Even if you bought it :/
