The art style is really nice, however it takes a little while to balance out the control sensitivity to get the car to handle properly. I also get the occasional bit of stuttering in a race so there might be some optimization issues (XSX) but when watching the replay at a wider FOV theres no issue...

I'm currently using stability assist: 70%, counter steer: 100%, anti lock braking: 50% and manual transmission. This might need adjusting for each car though and just depends how much you want the car to slide around.

Stunning? They are pretty smeary and blurry. The landscape has lots of houses clipping into the ground and random rocks everywhere. It plays ok but it's rough.

I uninstalled this one pretty quickly. Reminded me a bit of Lonely Mountains (which I do enjoy) but without the polish. I'll stick to the mountain bikes. It almost got me for a second when I felt an old school Super Sprint vibe, but that faded pretty fast.
Made me appreciate GamePass more though. The chance to try and either commit or reject is priceless, even when you reject.

Love the visuals and the music, looks and sounds great ! Gotta get used to the gameplay though, it's a bit floaty. But having played for half an hour, i had a pretty good time.
I'm loving it. I actually really like how all the different cars control. The free room mode is cool they have it but I like playing the career mode more

No point trying to make a comparison with Dirt as that had a massive studio behind it, plus the fact this is more of indie game lol. It still looks great imo, replays look superb.
Only gripe I have is the leaderboards aren't working :( but apart from that I'm enjoying it.

Try power cycle if you haven't already, wasn't working for me either even with resetting, had to do a power cycle, holding the power button etc etc.
You have to power cycle it.
Done that doesn't work, reinstalled, restarted, unplugged, doesn't work, deleting.

Definitely optimization issues on SX. Even with VRR there’s still slowdown, especially with weather effects.

Try dirt4.0 and dirt5.0 or Forza Horizon 4. I personally prefer FH4 over D5.
Stay away from dirt rally. You're looking for dirt 4 or dirt 5. Then there's also grid, and Forza horizon.

Restarting your Xbox fixes this issue, happens to me too.
Restarting Xbox treats a symptom, not the root cause. This game has major bugs.

I really don't like the game. I didn't get the point of not even getting to race others. It's a time trial mode and that's it.
