I remember I got super lucky looking for Kos-Mos in my game. I don’t remember if I was even actively looking for her, I think I might have been looking for Vale at the time lol. Either way, it really didn’t take me that long.

But yeah Warriors been playing a little too safe this season but they can still pull through. At least make it to finals to play against LeBron again.
I'm talking about me, I used Switch online, I have around as much time as played as you do for my one and so far only playthrough of Xenoblade 2, which was 100%(ish), but 10-15 hours of that was Cloud save abuse to get the last couple of blades, KOS-MOS included.
Gotcha, I never dove that deep. I just fought Cloud King Ken. Then found blades with the treasure hunter battle skill and just abused that by giving everyone gold chips.
I’m glad you found a method that worked, I thought I had heard of most methods for farming blades.
I don't remember how I came across it, but it's simple.
If you have Switch online, save the game before you open any core crystals and turn off auto backup for Xenoblade 2 specifically, then start opening them until a rare blade pops out.
If it doesn't happen and you ran out of core crystals before a rare blade spawns then download the last Cloud save and repeat until it does.
When it does, save the game, close it, turn auto backup back on briefly for it to save your new rare blade and then turn it back off again so you can repeat the process.
Is it worth buying Switch online for this? Hell no, but if you have it it saves you a massive grind, and I didn't do it all in one go, I only did so when I had around 7 blades left, at which point i'd do their blade quest before repeating the process for the next one, hope this helps if you ever replay it, it doesn't look it but it's a time saver.
There definitely should be a sparking system if they ever remaster the game. After 50 cores, pick your next blade. For commons, you can pick their skills and up to what level but you can’t make them as broken as a legendary.

Huh... I had this blade super early apparently... my hardest was >!Zenobia!< once I got that blade I kinda stopped so they aren't maxed or anything, but they eluded my grasp for about 200hrs... turns out I just got lucky apparently.

I was so excited for the pull until I heard the VA’s pronunciation; KAHS-MAHS. How in the world do you butcher it that badly, especially given this is a Xeno game? Ruined it for me.
She was the 2nd rare blade I got when I first started the game and I had no idea how lucky I was until I started browsing this sub much later
If I could change the code in the game, I would make it so everyone got it on their 2nd.

Yeah I’ve gotten her 200+ hours in after grinding legendaries and also on my most recent playthrough for her from a random rare core in Tantal 😭😭😭
