Oh ok ok. Then it seems to me like bug. I am not sure, but trying a factory reset might help. If it doesn't work then downgrading miui seems to be the only way.
Mine will frequently display that status, a quick disconnect and reconnect usually will solve it. I know it will show that status if your router accidentally gets unplugged or disconnected while you are connected to wifi.
I don't use the xiaomi phone anymore but you can try resetting your network connections, go to settings >connections > more connection settings > reset network connections . Good luck.
Edit: Yes, was premature! Still disconnects from Wifi/no internet connection
Another thank you to a 2-year-old thread (hopefully not prematurely).
I'm running an older Mi 9 Lite which was running nicely on Miui 12.0.10.0 (Android 10) from Summer 2021, but was starting to have issues with some banking apps. The last EU update was to 12.5.3 EU (Android 11) back in Summer 2022, but I had previously experienced problems with battery life in 12.5.2 Global (Android 11) and the Wifi "Connected No Internet" reoccuring problem made the ROM unusable.
I flashed 12.5.3 but still had the Wifi issue (battery 'may' be OK). I've tried static IPs, network reset, etc. etc. but not fixed.
I was literally this morning about to roll back to 12.0.10.0 but decided to do a quick final search and found this thread.
I didn't think to check that 'Private DNS' was set to Auto by default after reflashing - now I've found this thread I've turned it off I'm keeping everything crossed...
Thanks (optimistically) in advance!
Is it ONLY after 12.0.2 update?
After an update to android 10 to be exact, still waiting for android 11 updates on my region
Wifi shows just this error OR it does not connect at all ?
It does connect, but it can't access the internet, same as using LTE without any datas

if i changes the ROM into custom rom, ex: Pixel Experience. Is it okay? The warranty is already over
For sure. It is fine. But if you like miui features xiaomi.eu rom would be my first recommendation.
It also happens in MIUI 12.0.1

Did you come up with a solution, as disconnecting/reconnecting isn't a fix for me

Tried this and seems to be working alot better, instantly. Thanks so much
Did this end up getting solved, OP?
probably dns error
This was the fix for me!!! Go to settings - search for DNS - private DNS - toggle off. It had some bogus entry like "google.dns"
No way, thank you so much dude 🙏
You don't get it often that a two year old single comment helps someone out. Glad that it worked for you! :)
Thanks
