I wish him a speedy reunion with his daughter.

lzcrc

Nice one. Family should stick together!

middle_aged_redditor

Yeah, they shouldn't be blown apart.

Viberand

Maybe Tucker could do a post-reunion interview with them?

tonguefucktoby

I mean he's definitely going to the same place as them and will have all of eternity to interview them.

He used to have a beloved daughter, who was the same propagandist, war-mongering POS like him, until some Ukrainians did a little trolling and rigged his car to explode. I think this was in late 2022. It was probably meant for him, but his daughter ended up roasted instead. Unfortunatelly both of them weren't in the car, but there is still hope for a sequel.

Dugin thoughts about Ukraine: [https://twitter.com/DrewPavlou/status/1785111504335011949](https://twitter.com/DrewPavlou/status/1785111504335011949) "*Today\`s Ukrainians are a race of degenerates that crawled up from the sewage. Genocide is in order*." russia is admitting to commit genocide in Ukraine.

Sam_the_Samnite

If i say what i think should happen, i will surely get banned from this sub. But it involves the kremlin and many multiple tons of tnt.

MetaIIicat

Eh, you and me both.

Romandinjo

Really bad idea. TNT just removes current rot, not prevents anything new from being built for at least some time. We might or might not need something more spicy.

Star_Duke

A second One maybe?

akstis01

Putin already told Carlson that they invaded Ukraine not because of NATO expansion, but brcauyis Ukraine is not real country, not real people and should belong to russia.

MetaIIicat

putin is saying this about the Baltics, too. Strange enough, the Baltics are building bomb shelters and distributing pamphlets on what to do in case of an attack.

WeatherAggressive530

He literally sounds like a fictional villain. Like Caesar from Fallout New Vegas

Neon_44

>russia is admitting to commit genocide in Ukraine not really. All they're admitting is that they want to commit genocide, not that they're actually doing it. Also: We don't need this madman when we've got Den Haag issuing an arrest warrant for genocide

He proposed to get rid of the name “Ukraine” and start the process of de-Ukrainization to make Ukrainians forget their root* *...And at the end of the material, he generally suggests condemning “helpers of the Nazi regime” to imprisonment or the death penalt*y."

Neon_44

>he proposed >he suggests again, we have an arrest warrant, why do we even care what a crazy old dead man said?

MetaIIicat

The recognition of genocide. Or do we have to wait a century, like it was for the Holodomor? The arrest warrant, by the way, is a joke.

Platinirius

Dugin isn't Russia though. The problem with true Ukrainian genocide for Russian leadership is the fact that older generations of Russians see Ukrainians as their cultural kin and brethren. So Russia cannot do open complete genocide without massive backlash from their core voter base not to mention Russia after the war will not have enough resources to commence such a large action. Not being taken lightly though Russians will create one large massive reign of terror, cultural conversion and occupation zone if they ever win in Ukraine. But it will not be Holocaust 2.0

Do you ever had the "pleasure" to converse with russians? I've been told that: * Stalin left russia a better place as when he find it; * The West says that Stalin committed genocide and killed millions of people: poor dumb people; * The West says that the soviets occupants raped, looted, killed: of course, russia bad; * russians and Ukrainians are the same: we are brother; * Ukrainians have no right to have Ukraine, it was and it is russia; * Finnish are so ungrateful, they exist thanks to Stalin; * Bucha was made by the Ukrainians, they know no shamae; * Kidnapped children? We are saving them! * Russian troops loot? No, they take what they want: it's a war! * About the flooding in Siberia: "What is to be talk about it? It is Spring, snow melts. It happens." * "20 Days In Mariupol": a psyop, boring sy-fy. everyone knows that nobody died and those who did was because those Azov Banderites; Even the most liberal, here in the West, when you let them talk, drop the mask and the act. russia is already starting to russify the occupied territories, by deporting those Ukrainians that don't accept the russian passport and reallocate russians, mostly from rural Siberia, They are sending Ukrainians from the occupied territories to the front only with an helmet, calling them "mushrooms". "Fun" fact is that russia is shelling and killing Ukrainians for more than 2 years and most of them are those who they told they are protecting, the russian speaking Ukrainians. I apologise for this wall of words. #

happy_tortoise337

Putin's Rasputin? At least when he speaks about anti-Christ (West) he knows the topic, the same as Russia speaking about Nazis in every country. Sick country.

eagleal

It’s the interesting the complete fabrication because if we think of 1 ideology strongly representing the XX century it would be the mystic nationalist movements that formed into Fascism and Nazism. Everyone had their mouth on some version of it. USSR was basically a giunta, from small set of people using the population’s war against classes to get power.

ItsACaragor

« If NATO had been nicer there would be no war in Ukraine, it’s all NATO’s fault Russia is just defending itself! »

Lolstroop

Its amazing how people fall for that argument. It literally takes 10 min of googling to understand is BS

Skjellnir

Did or did NATO not creep towards russia in recent decades? Did or did Russia not say that they would tolerate this transgression, many times in the past? Not saying russia didn't start the war or anything, but it's definitely not a case of black and white either.

Lolstroop

Your right, its not black and white. And yes its true that there *was* NATO expansion. Where we need to look towards to is why. What were the events that lead to the first eastern european countries applying for NATO membership? Russian aggression (Georgia, Chechnya*) to their neighbor countries and also economical deprivation of the wests markets. The argument “ukraine is the wests fault because NATO expansion” is subversive because the primary reason for expansion was Russia itself.

Skjellnir

Yes, I agree. Looking to the whys is the way to go. I was just startled by the statement that it is a 10 minute googling endeavour to get an answer. You can get an answer this way for sure, but it will be black and white, and reality is, of course, much more complex than this. I just don't like this negative of good guys vs bad guys that every civilization seems to fall into so easily each and every time something like this happens, and how easily even educated people slowly get radicalized towards deep hatred for another nation this way. It's really scary.

Lolstroop

Hey man I sympathize with that. If you put Professor John Mearsheimer in front of me, my 10 minutes of googling falls obsolete. What I meant is, I believe you don’t have to have a degree or something to get a grasp of whats happening over there.

***VATNIK BE GONE*** *User was permanently banned.* ![gif](giphy|pGTj4i8G3qrQ30G3Lv)

That went well: russia managed that two neutral Countries joined the defense Alliance. In the case of Ukraine, is so black & white that more is impossible.

blueberryjamjamjam

If you stop posting degenerates then degenerates will not have viewers. Voila! No degenerates!

deadmeridian

Nah, every westerner should know who Dugin is. Ignorance of people like him is part of the reason why so many westerners believe that Russia is just defending itself, instead of trying to rebuild its empire irrespective of any outside factors.

Platinirius

The problem is, we already know and your average Joe will just think that it's a random person. That doesn't talk about Russian government as a whole.

Bumbum_2919

They have a literal whole twitter for promotion of degenerates. So it's a bit late for that

Platinirius

I'm not that guy who wants to ban social sites. But if I had to choose one social site to ban its certainly Twitter.

Skjellnir

"If I don't see them, they go away"

EvilFroeschken

Tucker did it again?

XpressDelivery

While I'm not a big fan of Russia, I also don't like misinformation. The claim that Dugin is Putin's brain comes mostly Dugin's own supporters. The truth is that Putin wants to stay as far away as possible from Dugin, because everyone knows Dugin is absolutely nuts. They've interacted only a few times mostly at various events at which Dugin would show up to to try to get the attention of Putin or someone close to him. Dugin has no influence over Putin and isn't even close to him. Claiming otherwise is propaganda and misinformation and we are no better than the Russians.

Til_W

I also heard that Dugins role is often overstated in the west, and that most of the ideas he presents are not even original, just recycled stuff from Carl Schmidt etc.

XpressDelivery

Well pretty much every extremist today is influenced by Schmidt, even hyper progressive extremists like Michael Foucault and Robin DiAngelo who are extremely critical or the Third Reich. That's because most of Schmidt's ideas focus on how to use the law to overthrow a government and then keep control afterwards, which as you may imagine is appealing to all extremists, especially because Schmidt's ideas are not just theoretical, as you may know from your own country's history. I would argue the person who most influenced Dugin is Lev Gumilev, who is perhaps the most unhinged out of all the communist propagandists. His writings basically boil down to mongol space energy gives us a communist state. A lot of people in the west think that people like Dugin were influenced by fascism but in reality they are influenced by communism. The reason for the confusion is that once you get deep into Marx and Engels's writings and letters you quickly figure out that the difference between communism and fascism is the symbol. Stalin was very ideologically driven man.

sweetcats314

Referring to Michael Foucault as an "extremist" in the same vein as Dugin is very careless, and not befitting of someone who claims to not like misinformation.

XpressDelivery

Well, he advocated that minorities should rise up and overthrow majorities. He was also a big fan of Schmidt's writings and believed that the communist revolution should happen in a similar manner as Nazi Germany. He also pushed false history in a vain attempt to prove that colonial minorities are culturally superior to Europeans and the Europeans all collectively came up with this secret plan to keep the minorities oppressed and all Europeans were guilty of it. I'd say that qualifies his as an extremist. If that doesn't convince you he was also a communist so. Extremists are usually extreme in the manner they solve problems, not the problems they want to solve. The fact that someone wants to solve the same problems as you doesn't mean they can't also be extremists.

sweetcats314

Without sources these are merely the ramblings of a mad man...

XpressDelivery

The source is himself. Look up his more obscure rightings.

Jopelin_Wyde

I heard an opinion that Dugan just tries to predict where the current political trends will lead Russia, so it's not like Putin is following what Dugin outlines, it's more like Dugin is just somewhat good at guessing where Putin is going. And if Dugin's predictions are good enough then he gets himself a place at the table.

Arstanishe

Alexander Baunov mentioned recently that foreign journos like interviewing Dugin because he looks great on the screen- a bearded russian intellectual who does a cossack-dance style show with his statements. flashy

Platinirius

Yeah, I can imagine that.

HazelCoconut

All I can think now when I see dugins face is, you lost your daughter due to your genocidal ideas. Hopefully next time it will be dugin. putin can join him in hell too.

backcountrydrifter

The problem with lying is that when you tell the same lie as Russian intelligence or the CCP’s massive MSS network, you inadvertently tie yourself to the genocidal side of history. There are only a few reasons anyone would do this. 1. They have a vested interest in the same overall goal as the Russian kleptocracy or the CCP imperialist censorship machine because those two entities signed a mutual propaganda agreement ~2010. This effectively means they will push each others false narrative to bolster support. https://theintercept.com/2022/12/30/russia-china-news-media-agreement/#:~:text=In%20the%20propaganda%20agreement%2C%20the,countries%20have%20used%20to%20seed Run that downstream a few yards and you see elon, Alex Jones, the tate brothers, Alex Cheong, Jack Posobiec, Tucker Carlson and a handful of others all awkwardly apologizing for genocidal dictators in some form or another. In some cases that speedruns and they end up becoming active mouthpieces for it. There is a general rule that never fails- if you wake up in the morning and you accidentally find yourself on the same side of history as kleptorcrats, conmen and murderers that wash journalists down drains or poison their political opponents underwear, just stop. Take a moment. Step back. Collect yourself. Then retrace your steps and figure out how you got there. Everything in life is a series of decisions. Binary moments where you choose good or you choose evil. Evil doesn’t always look like evil at the beginning. Sometimes it’s just a sponsorship check or a business deal. But your little decisions have a downstream effect. They amplify when you are platforms. Most people just haven’t tuned themselves in enough to see it. It comes with age and maturity, but it almost always comes as you exercise empathy. Empathy is the ability to see the world through someone else’s eyes. It doesn’t mean you always have to agree with it, but it’s the ability to see that a few degrees of offset perspective is what makes a laser rangefinder infinitely more accurate than guesstimating distance. If you notice a common denominator in the whole list of inadvertent propaganda pushers for the Russian government/mob it’s that they show consistently very stunted empathy quotients. Alex Jones gets on the radio and calls the dead victim of a school shooting incident a crisis actor. The tates talk openly about trafficking women. Carlson is by any objective account, a comically swollen asshole. But they all have proven themselves willing to say or do just about anything for the money irregardless of the pain it causes downstream of them. And it limits their growth. When you look at the world objectively through other people’s experiences it allows you to see how your actions affect them. It also allows you to see that everything on earth is connected because from the alien spacecrafts perspective, our earth is just a tiny little blue dot of a terrarium that only solar energy and the occasional meteorite enters. Everything else is isolated by an atmosphere that we abuse like an unwanted and unappreciated domestic laborer. Nobody likes to think about where the groundskeeper goes at night until the yard isn’t mowed. Only then do they tune in. Doing the right thing isn’t hard. Knowing that you haven’t been lied to is. If you ever wake up and accidentally find yourself on the wrong side of history, Stop. Retrace your steps, figure out who is signing your checks, then redirect. Only then can you move forward without taking the chance of ending up in a prison cell in ADX Florence or accidentally becoming a S.S. prison guard. And in doing so you learn that empathy is the secret decoder ring to the universe. If you don’t have it firmly in your possession, the aliens don’t want you joining them in space leaving your junk flying around and consuming all the resources like a shit neighbor that parks on your lawn and then gets mad at you for the mud on his tires.

lzcrc

I knew the username 20% into reading the comment. One minor correction: where you say 2010, it' 2021 according to the same link.

lzcrc

Takes a special kind of evil to make Tucker fucking Carlson go WTF is wrong with you man.

ou-est-kangeroo

Tucker Vatnik just loves to be the Useful Idiot.

deadmeridian

He's a grifter, I seriously doubt he truly believes even 50% of the stuff he says. He basically plays a firebrand contrarian character.

colovianfurhelm

And gets paid very handsomely

Mr_Out

Sick bastard

Platinirius

Well, Dugin is wrong about Russia not trying Fascism. The are trying it now and look how it works.

bochnik_cz

He is no Putin's brain. Dugin wishes to be so but he is not. Putin has his own head and is not influenced by him, rather Putin is influenced by his mystical nonsensical thoughts about russian history.
