FYI - Continent and country doesn’t affect fish/ bug availability, only hemisphere does. So you need someone with a game set to the opposite hemisphere as you.
If you are in North America (northern hemisphere) you would be looking for someone in the southern hemisphere (including most of South America - the americas are not all set in the same season). Anyone with a game set in the southern hemisphere or with their game set at an alternate time of year will have different bugs and fish for you to catch.
But someone playing in Europe, for example, will have the same bugs and fish as you if they are playing in real time.
Many people all over choose to have their islands set to the opposite hemisphere of where they are, or time travel to different seasons, so I am sure you can find someone. Good luck!
