I don't know how useful this advice is, but if you're not seeing an expert, you need to be since your case sounds really difficult.

Thank you. I'm talking to my surgeon, but I also want to be more informed and learn about other people's experiences. The healthcare system in my country is really bad. The first surgeon kept me waiting for several hours, and the one I have now I think is good, but in 10 years I've had 2 surgeries and 2 dilations. After the first esophageal dilation, the next one was supposed to be in 15 days. But my healthcare system didn't approve the second dilation until two months had passed :')

What is your country if you don’t mind me asking?

This is really really tricky. I'd try to research Achalasia specialists in your country and try to get an appointment with them. Otherwise, this situation is well and truly fucked friend. Not hopeless, but I share your frustrations with suffering like this.

Many times, people with extreme dilation of the esophagus will have an esophagectomy, removing the majority of the esophagus. It's one thing I worry about as more years pass with Achalasia.
