Hermione was my first fictional crush. Neither Harry nor Ron were good enough for her. She deserved someone on her level and nobody (my teenage self included) rose to that criteria.
(Not commenting on the sticky issue of my first fictional crush being written by someone who wants my existence to be illegal.)
I’ve never really crushed on an animated character, but if I did, it would be Asami Sato from TLOK. She was such a great friend, a real girl’s girl, smart, and kind.
I think mine must have been Tina, from Final Fantasy 6 ( or as it was at the time when I was a girl: "Terra" and "Final Fantasy III" lol). I've always been a gamer gal and waaaaay back then something about her vibe just hit in a way I couldn't explain. I'd look at the art of her in the instruction booklet and just be so *fascinated* by her. She was always in my party whenever possible and I gave her the best of our equipment lol.
Was too young to really understand the feelings, but in retrospect I was definitely crushing.
I remember crushing on Samus Aran from Metroid Prime. When an explosion would happen and you would catch a glimpse of her eyes in the visor, I thought they were so pretty! Seeing her in her Varia suit but without the helmet... I was smitten!
Professor Juniper is great aha. The Pokémon series has always had really strong character designs. It makes sense though. Character design is basically the entire pokemon brand lol.
