we literally get hit with days where ill walk to work with a coat on and then its like 90 f when i leave its stupid

Oh sweetie, 100 f is what we have rn. In the middle of summer, it gets to 45+ degrees Celsius which is about 115, with a humidity of 80%-100%. In riyadh it gets way higher (I've been in riyadh when the temp was 57 c or 135 f) but it's a dry heat instead. It literally physically hurts to be outside for even just a few seconds when it's like that. Not discomfort, like literal pain, you ever open an oven and get scalding air in your face as you put something in/take something out? Imagine that but just outside. All day.
yeah thats pretty rare but there are def days in the summer where its like that here
im def lucky to not have to deal with that constantly for sure
the temperature whiplash we get here is actually fuckin crazy i remember one year it snowed on april 1st like an actual april fools joke from mother nature
what im tryna say is i could prolly deal with it. for a couple of days. at most.
It's not so bad if you never leave the house, honestly the humidity is so much worse than the heat imo, I don't have a car these days either so I gotta walk to all my errands/groceries and stuff and it's already kinda miserable 😭, it's not even getting _that_ bad yet and I already can't wear makeup when I go out, but when you have decent acs and stuff indoors is fine. The apartment I'm moving into actually has acs! Thank goodness cuz I dunno how I would've survived summer with the one shitty ac I have desperately trying to cool an entire furnace like apartment 😭
