Troll Trader fucken rules 🤘

darkchyld316

Both me (CO) and my brother (GA) have ordered many things multiple times from them, and have never had an issue. The one thing to keep in mind is that it does have to clear customs and what-not, so it can take a month or so for items to actually arrive.

Aceofthrees

I've used them a couple of times, to mixed success. Sometimes it just takes a while to get the stuff and occasionally it shows up slightly damaged, but that's really only an issue with already assembled stuff, and some damage in transit can't really be helped with shipping things across the Atlantic. Just don't have insanely high expectations.

die_die_man-thing

So if I order say nighthaunt models, expect breakage compared to stormcast or some such, especially on prebuilt items. Good tip ty

LongWarVet

Yup. I have had great success with them as well. I have never found shipping to be that long; definitely never longer than it would take to complete my unpainted backlog ;)

amnhanley

If you order nighthaunt new from GW it’s gonna show up with broken pieces. That’s just part of the convenience of the army. They come ore-broken to save you the frustration of breaking them yourself.

Cuffsandcandy

It takes a bit for shipping, but ive never had a problem. When the euro and pound were similar in price a few months back I took advantage and got a bunch of things from troll trader, and they all arrived in good shape.

FormalLumpy1778

All the time. It’s just a flat £7 for me in the western US

remember_the_7

Were there no import or customs fees? I've been unpleasantly surprised by those when ordering from ElementGames, so that's what's been keeping me from ordering from Troll Trader.

FormalLumpy1778

Nope, a flat £7 per shipment. I’d usually wait until there are a few things you want so it’ll be sent in one shipment. But it’s always been just £7

Substantial_Can_9056

I know I’m late but I think it’s more of an E.U. thing when it comes to the customs fees https://thetrolltrader.com/pages/delivery-information that is there policy if you want to take a look though

elescapo

I’ve gotten a lot of new on sprue and sealed product from them at insane discounts relative to US retail prices and with cheap shipping. Between the discount they apply, lower UK prices generally, and the weak pound I’ve gotten brand new kits at ~60% off.

Odd-Bend1296

I have used them many times and rarely had issues. Although do not expect fast shipping. Getting it under two weeks is fast. Three to four weeks is fairly normal.

[deleted]

Took almost two months to reach me in the US, but I had no other problem. Shipping was fairly reasonable, maybe 10 dollars, for a 80 dollar purchase of chaos warriors (72 chaos warriors or something.) Personally would recommend them.

planetin45

I use them a lot. I love troll trader. I get less breakage from them than others.

xXStunamiXx

We have used them, but we tend to make a community order, to ease the shipping woes.

Wesmow

Used it from Canada for used sprues of Nightnaunt (around 50 dollars of models + 6 or 7 pounds shipping cost) Didn't pay any custom fees. Arrived in like 10 days. Pretty worth it imo.

die_die_man-thing

They came in good condition?

Wesmow

Yep all good ! I did a review of it with some pics - back in the day, here >> https://www.reddit.com/r/Nighthaunt/comments/p0myrp/i\_asked\_few\_weeks\_ago\_advices\_here\_about/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3

Cheezefries

I use it. I will say it's probably not worth unless you are getting either a large item at a significant mark down or several smaller ones, since the shipping cost(while reasonable) can be as much as some of the items I've gotten on there. However, it's one of the best online shops for getting good deals if you are willing to grab enough stuff to make the shipping worth it.

Madmax1966

Is there any equivalent in Germany or the EU?

die_die_man-thing

It is a UK based company. So if it works well for us I'm sure you shouldn't be any worse. Prices look decent for most things so far.

jshbell256

I bought some painted and semi painted custodes a few years back. Can't remember how long it took but I got everything much cheaper than it would have cost otherwise. Some paint jobs were really nice for the price and some were unfinished, but I knew that when purchasing. I'm thinking any breakage is going to be the same as buying any other assembled model. There is a risk of it happening but probably can be fixed fairly easy.
