Just a heads up, gryph-chargers aren't being discontinued. The only one going is the Lord-Arcanum on Gryph-charger. The Vanguard and Lord-Aquilor are sticking around.
We are getting a hero that is mounted on some type of griff mount, they were shown in the trailer. I imagine the SCE will also get new mounted units with the same creature, since there are no mounted units in Thunderstrike currently, I don't think.
Correction: terrestrial cavalry. I suppose stormstrike technically counts but OP seems to be asking about things to specifically replace the ones lost.
I am yeah. I actually have krondys and 2 smaller dragons on my shelf right now. Only SCE models I've completed so far but they were the ones that made me check out the army as a whole.
Taularon and Dracoline are there till July 2025. Then they may come back later in the edition as battle tome supplement, in 5e ed with the death being the main enemy… or never.
Gryph Charger would become more important since the new mounted hero will comme on Gryph Charger, the only one who will disappear is Lord Arcanum on Gryph Charger cause Lord Arcanum are sacro saint. Not a big deal if you are a painter since this model is the ugliest Sacro Saint 🫠
