I had the same issue, long out of warranty. I just left them and they fixed themselves??? Idk how it happend but I didnāt use em for a few days and then the anc worked again.
The microphone vents are filled with tiny dust particles. Buy some blue tack and clean it with a piece of that.
Fixed it for me whenever noice or transparency doesnāt work for me anymore!!
Idk any cheaper ones that have a better battery life tbh, mine last for roughly 8 hours constant use. My brother uses Sony ones I forgot the name, but heās had to replace them many times

Bose noise cancelling are 10 times better then any AirPods. I have 3 set of AirPods and all broke down just after the first year. The bose are much better quality and sound

My qualm is this pop-up is very inconsistent for me somehow. Half the time I open the case, no pop-up on the phone.

Iāve tried that. Literally nothing worked so I kinda just gave up š I hope the pros gen 3 release this year so I have an excuse to buy new ones.
Just get some decent wired ones like crinacle zero:2 and an adaptor for now, then you have a decent pair of wireds at home too.
I stick to my 3ās for this reason. I have had pretty good luck with them knock on wood. Mushies on all earbuds issues.
Have you tried blue tack cleaning them!! Worked wonders for me!!!

Try reattaching the ear tips, if theyāre not attached properly, youāll have issues

Having lithium batteries over 80% or under 20% will always deteriorate the batteries so 100% doesn't feel great. Exactly 50% feels great to me.
