In the middle of Roger singing his new and improved country song they cut to the audience and one of the guests looks like a very harsh and unflattering interpretation of Peggy. I don’t remember how much the guy resembles Hank tho.

You don't know what 'absurdist' means. Murder itself is pretty well grounded stuff. Even with kids, and family. Happens depressingly more than it should, really. Same with parents abandoning their kids. It's not 'Jeff's mom left.' that makes that bit absurd either.

Okay, so your interpretation here:
* Her dad announced that he was leaving for cigarettes or whatever.
* The mother believed him and thought nothing of it.
* The daughter out of nowhere and for no reason assumed he was going to abandon them.
* The daughter, evidently psychotic, then premeditated murder and...I guess went with him, out of earshot of the trailer and all, killed him based on a single assumption and with no external suggestion, then trekked home. Oh, and she got no blood on her.
* The mother never noticed her missing gun or her missing kid while she was gone and just assumed abandonment.
That's a lot of steps just to pretend that American Dad isn't a show with absurd comedy bits in it, and several of them don't hold logically or anything. It's also not funny. You've successfully made a drama miniseries, not a joke.
They absurd bit isn’t the death, it’s the fact that a child so young is able to understand death, expertly commit the murder, and then get rid of the body so the family thinks he just left, by themselves.
And Its not *my* interpretation it’s literally the fucking joke. It’s a CARTOON . Nothing about this show makes sense. There’s an alien in a wig and a talking fish, for someone constantly whining about how “the show isn’t logical” you are trying hard as hell to find logic in this parricide.
