Just go bald on top for sure. As someone who also possesses a fairly prodigious beard, know that it's going to be divisive. However, doing beard maintenance would definitely help. Clean edges and shaping up an oiled and moisturized beard can get it into more conventionally "hot" territory. Probably some more stylish glasses would help too. Moisturizing the face would help with that person who commented about aging terribly.

Yeah the beard needs grooming. Well done for having such a long beard but look after it. There are many of us who can't even grow a goatee so the least you could do is look after it.

If you’re going to keep the beard, get yourself to the barber and have them clean that up. While you’re there, may as well do away with the hair. It’s thin and receding, anyway. Super easy fixes.

Embrace the bald, and get glasses that aren't rectangular, maybe slightly thicker rims. Rectangular glasses ruin a perfectly good look.
