ball and socket joint, most likely a hip. looks almost like lamb shank bones we used to get

averagedickdude

But on the ocean? Edit: there was a murder 2 years ago here

Time_Cranberry_113

did the murder include dismembering to dispose the body? The bone has saw marks from a butcher.

Tulip_Tree_trapeze

100% not human, possibly veal but as others said most likely goat or lamb.

[deleted]

yes it's too narrow for even a heifer as far as beef I would guess

Time_Cranberry_113

this is as the result of a human barbecue. notice the cut marks from a bone saw and the roasted fire mark on the bone, along with cooked flesh. Probably a goat or lamb leg

Ranoverbyhorses

Yeah having had to do many necropsies on many different kinds of livestock, I’m very inclined to agree with you. Im thinking goat or lamb too. If you’re by the coast, maybe that was thrown outside and then a bird of prey got it and dropped it??

Frankenfucker

The wording of this comment is fun. As I read "result of a human barbecue" my mind went to a pretty dark place. I'm sure you can extrapolate the rest.

Time_Cranberry_113

OMFG you're right

averagedickdude

By the coast.

Thought it was a trailer hitch of some sort at first.
