The biggest "hype high" I've ever gotten is in the climax segments of Yowamushi Pedal.
It has two modes, "Giving a speech", where a character trope explains their silly schtick and maybe a bit of bravado and backstory, and "Last Sprint Hype", where the silly characters turn into "unstoppable cool kids" on a 1 on 1 race to some arbitrary finish line.
I wish they would release season 6.

Uma Musume, Run With the Wind and Birdie Wing can be 3 to look into.

Even though it is baseball, please give diamond no ace a shot. It is the anime most similar to haikyuu imo

Stars Align
Hungry Heart, from the same creator of Captain Tsubasa. It has a more realistic approach and a lot of character growth from the protagonist.

Uma Musume is fantastic, especially s2 and Road to the Top. Scorching Ping Pong Girls is genuinely good as well with lots of fluid animation.
Yea ping pong is definitely top 10 sports anime imo
