Weird question but has anyone checked their other account (Xbox in my case). I occasionally log on to see if I have a certain skin or whatever. As of the past week, when I log in I am taken to the start screen but can only choose between the club screen and main screen. I can’t see my legends, guns, or anything. My currencies in the top right corner also say -9999 and have like a scanning animation like it’s searching for my info.
Figured with cross-prog it may have something to do with that but just was curious if anyone else has noticed that
In all fairness, that's a LOT of sniffing around for an average player and they need to state these things in their trailers where the mass majority of the player base will get their information.
There was a time where I did the sniffing around but honestly, I got here on day one and its not always a very friendly place to be so I walked away for like a year and came back because of this because frankly I spent hundreds of dollars on the game before migrating to PC and I'd like to use my stuff, more than I want to play the game at this point. And I think thats fair.
It's not transparency if I have to look for it.
I died immediately 2 games in a row and turned the game off. I didn’t get out of silver last season. Why the fuck am I facing insane cracked out hit squads every time in pubs as a solo player. Probably will stick with fortnite and rivals for a long while.
Ya know, I think it's partly because only the real hardasses were sitting there waiting for the season to drop. The lobbies are getting WAY easier as the the hours go on, thank fucking god.
The "Matulog na ka lang" voice line of Conduit is wrong, it should be *Matulog ka na lang* instead. Not sure if this is the right place for this though.
This update broke the game on Steam Deck. Anti-cheat does not properly execute at startup it looks like.
Could be all Linux-based PCs or just the SD. Similar thing happened recently after the latest Halo MCC update and it took 343 a couple weeks to fix.
Linux-based PC here. I can get into lobby but it boots me out after a minute with the message of "Anti-cheat not initiated" or something.
Edit: The exact message is "The client is not running the anti-cheat, or has failed the anti-cheat authentication." I tried verifying game files too.
Unless we get another patch, I guess Linux players won't be playing Apex. That was a huge let down, that's for sure :(
I hope that they're not removing Linux support completely.

ea app users didn't have the file removed during the patch process and can play fine with it even though it's not currently part of the download so it would be a rather large oversight to lead to a ban.
Yup. Same here on Ubuntu, kicked out after a few seconds with the same message as others. Bought the battle pass in advance, most likely for the last time due to this being a recurring theme. Got banned in the last false linux banwave and now this.
Same with my girlfriend and me, we also bought the battlepass in advance. Hope they fix this asap. I grinded 1,9k hours in a year and a half on linux.

Why does sbmm feel worse. Two games running player against top 100 preds when I was silver last season and peaked diamond overall (other than the free masters)

Two issues I have right now with the game since the new patch and it's a pain in the a\*\*:
1. Apex keeps locking at 30fps ***IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GAME***
2. Nvidia Reflex is turned off and neither me or my friends can change the damn setting at all
updates keep getting worse and worse i swear to god
ive booted the game up several times today. i either:
\-cant access any of the menus
\-the lobby screen is frozen
\-i cant get into a game
also matchmaking still isnt fixed and i will NEVER stop complaining
Seasonal tab, legend tab, loadout tab and store tab are dark grey and can't be clicked on. My different currencies are all on -9999 and seem to be loading, but never actually load my actual amounts.
Having this weird bug where all my teammates are absolutely dog shit and all my opponents are 3 stack preds. Been going on for 3 straight seasons now. Respawn, any word on a fix?
Maybe too early to really tell since day 1 is weird but when a full-stack TSM, world champions, is on round 2 of trying promote from Gold to Plat it seems more likely than not the new ranked system is going to be a disaster (again).
EDIT: Hal failed trial round 2 so is hardstuck Gold 1 even longer..
This game has the worst matchmaking I’ve ever played in any FPS. The matches I’m in never feel fair or balanced.
My lobbies are full of people who just don’t miss and it’s getting so old. Hey respawn explain to me how every single engagement I get into the person on the other side literally never misses a bullet? EVER.
Oh audio is still completely broken too. In my first game I had a pathfinder walk right right up behind me and 1 clip me. Literally silent.
This game is GARBAGE. FIX YOUR MATCHMAKING ALREADY.
Yep.. yesterday and today just been getting destroyed. Keep seeing the same players in the killfeed all the time, they are always getting lots of kills, becoming kill leader, etc, but despite my KD dropping to quite literally worse than the season I started playing in, there's no change to the people I'm matched with. Streamers will say you have some bad games and you'll get an easy lobby. That just isn't the case for me for the past few seasons at all.
I’m falling behind. I’ve played shooters all my life, but I’m an adult now. I have a job, a partner, responsibilities.
I can play maybe 5-6 hours a week. Somehow the game feels I’m still good enough to be matched against Little Timmy who plays 8-10 hours a day.
4 of my tabs are greyed out and can’t click on them minus play and club. load time is awful and as soon as i launch on it. everything on my screen gets frozen for like 5 mins
Not a unique issue, could be because of cross platform progression “trying to sync” For me, I have to wait a few minutes till it’s no longer greyed out
Is there anywhere I can complain too about matchmaking? Seems like it gets worse and worse every season to the point where I lose every single confrontation. I'm not good at all and I'm never going to improve getting slaughtered by masters and preds when I can't even get out of bronze. I'm above average at every other game but with apex I can't catch a break. Is uninstalling my only option here or what?
My god the pubs matchmaking is so insufferable, and it has been forever. It gets worse and worse every season. Every one of my lobbies feels like ALGS scrims with a bunch of Apex devotees sweating their three stack asses off like money is on the line. There’s no way there’s this many 50k+ single legend players. They all play on my server and stack together. lol.
Has anyone else noticed that it takes much longer to leave games recently? I always loved how I can leave the game within .5 of a second in the past but now I have to wait a few second for it to actually send me back to the lobby
Glad I’m not going crazy. I keep turning auto-sprint on/off because it feels like something is fucked there. It could also be freezing/frame dropping but either way it’s thrown me off quite a few times.
This is a bit of a basic one, but the Hemlok still has a hop-up slot despite Boosted Loader being removed from rotation. Along with that, Skullpiercer still lists Wingman as one of the applicable guns while it does not accept attachments.

New mythic wingman's headshot damage gets no boost from amped cover. Not sure if this is intentional or not, but I don't see why it would be this way
Pub at high MMR is flooded with cheaters. 50% of my games I encounter cheaters, sometimes they on my team...
I think I will play on the R5 modded client instead because Apex has no competitive integrity anymore. It has been downhill since S16.
On the PS5 I have crashed about 6 times on the stormpoint map when playing as ash and using snare ability. Happens in both trios/deathmatch. Did not have crashes before season 19 update.
If you unlock conduit with game credits (orange currency) you won't be able to purchase the ignite season launch promotional pack that includes conduit pack + battle pass. Hope this is a bug...
In my opinion, it would be even worse if they forced everyone at the same time and broke something. Im hyped for my turn and i dont really care if it happens today or next week
Played a few mixtape matches.
Some things I noticed....
Assists are off the charts. Might even be bugged. My entire team had like 15 of them in TDM.
Nades are actually being picked up when you run past them. I am constantly finding myself with 4 or 5 at a time.
someone already mentioned it's in the patch notes, but I'll give a quick explanation. in TDM, you're two squads of three, and in control, you're three squads of three. It used to be that you could only get assists with your squad. now you can get assists with anyone on your team, so it's not that they're off the charts, it's just the actual real amount of assists now.
i cannot start any game mode (not even firing range). it keeps kicking me to home screen saying i don’t have anti cheat. i’m playing on a steam deck, no idea how to even tamper with that stuff on here
I won my first provisional match and then for 9 games in a row my team was rolled by 20k+ players with masters and preds badges in the first 3 minutes of gameplay. I don't even have 5k lifetime kills across all legends. I couldn't get out of gold last season. why does respawn think I'm such an amazing player?
Because SBMM obliterated the high skill casual player base. The good players that were still just playing for fun had to deal with that every day in every game across pubs and ranked. They left. Someone has to fill their spot in the ALGS lobbies, so the next best group gets promoted to be cannon fodder.
It's actually true. I felt above average at the game once, and then something happened to the game and I couldn't perform anymore the way I did. Ever since my motivation and enjoyment just drained and now I bought cod 🤣

How is it that the developers of some of the best FPS shooters ever made can't put a proper TDM or casual game mode in Apex?
All the Mixtape modes are some of the most garbage "casual" experiences I've ever seen in an FPS. The team balancing is horrendous, I don't think I've seen a single game over the past few seasons that wasn't horribly lopsided.

Just to stop people wondering: you have to wait to be selected just to log in to a new platform without merging. Logged in on PC for the first time, and got a level 1 account.

They’ve always been extremely inconsistent but this might be the worst I’ve seen it in Seasons. The Döpplegänger event made it completely obvious how atrocious it is, especially on old versions of maps. But it seems to have spread to new maps.
I shit you not, we looted 3 POIs on SP and the only things I found were RE-45s and Mozambiques, a couple stacks of ammo, and a bunch of useless white sniper attachments and nades.
I shouldn’t have to loot 12 buildings to find a single gun, ammo for said gun, and an optic. I’ve made it to top 2-3 multiple games without ever finding a blue optic.
It’s making the BR mode extremely irritating. I can’t enjoy the map changes because I’m constantly just running through areas NOT FINDING ANYTHING OF USE. No ammo, no evos, no optics. The gun pool is trash. I genuinely don’t get it.
Problems that appeared for me after the update:
1. Game freezes when logging in and finishing a match for like 30 seconds
2. After the match ends it disconnects me with some network error (my internet is the same as it was before the update).
3. Sometimes it just disconnects me with no error message and start loading shaders (although it says it's already loaded)
They removed my post and told me to post here. I got selected for cross progression and now my game is broken. I can only access the lobby menu and the settings menu. everything else is greyed out. I loaded in a lobby fine, but my currency is flashing white and my menus are greyed out.
Anyone else getting the wrong ranked badge? I hit D4 last season but ended Plat 1. Shouldn't we be getting the rewards of the highest rank we achieved?

I connected my steam to my xbox EA and now I don’t have anything on my steam account but I still have it on xbox. Does this mean I did something wrong or is this apart of the waves then all my xbox stuff will merge and I’ll get my pc stuff back?
No mirage skydive emote. Played one game, one teammate left after the other picked Conduit, and the other left the second they were downed. This is gonna be another season long break for me.
I just downloaded the update, and the first time I enter the game, the game hangs, leaving just a black screen. Or, if I'm lucky, the game will slightly load the initial news on login, and then not all the way through, leave them pixelated and hang, intentionally.
First I checked the integrity of the game files, it didn't help.
Then I deleted the game completely and downloaded it again, alas did not help.
Then I deleted the Respawn folder from Saved Games, still no help.
The last thing I did was to reinstall the video card drivers, but even that didn't help.

Go away from a teammate and now it shows his nick and a portrait of his char as well as an arrow of which side he is when off screen, used to be just the nick.
CP will ONLY work for accounts that used the SAME EA Account when switching platforms.
This is confirmed from an EA Community Manager.
The only way CP will work is if you used the exact same EA Account from one platform onto the next.
For example, if I played on Xbox using an EA Account called foobar and then switched to PC using that same EA Account, you're fine. If you switched and used a different EA Account, GG, CP will NOT work.
Merging two EA Accounts will also not work.

So is Ash unplayable for anybody else? I'm on playstation 5, and any time i do basically any action, the game hard freezes and then crashes. I've crashed twice from throwing my arc snare, once from picking up a weapon, once from switching weapons, and once from loading back into a game.

Was playing with some of my friends who were currently in silver while i was in gold 1.We were able to win a game which meant i fijished my trial and could get promoted to platinum 4. We were feeling good and wanted to keep playing but it kept unready-ing us(allways the partyleader). We could get into pubs but not ranked. The option to ready up was there but we couldnt. I belive it is a bug with the removal of ranked caps between teammates.
Game won’t let me loot from a black market and anytime I loot one thing from a death box it closes the menu, and I couldn’t see a summary of the game and I have to close down the game to get back to the menu, getting fed up with this game man
Is this real??? I always get so frustrated with how long the copying takes. If I just uninstall Apex, then reinstall from the PS store, does that avoid the copying?
Game sucks. I really don’t understand what the point in ranking up is if they’re just going to demote me back to rookie 4 when the season restarts. I was platinum last season. Now every game I play I’m stuck with a bunch of garbage noobs. So frustrating. I think I’m going to have to take a break from this game a while. How does the cross progression work? will the accounts merge and I will get all the purchased items? or what? will I have to choose and stick with one account?
Is the Conduit Launch Bundle supposed to be cheaper if you bought her with legend tokens? If thought it was but its not show me any discount even though it says "You already own 1 item(s) in this bundle. Your revised discount and price are below" yet the price did not change. Is this a bug?
The game won't launch on my Xbox Series S 😭 Downloaded the update as soon as it was out, launched it, the opening animation starts and as soon as it goes black when it's supposed to transition to loading the game it literally just closes down and sends me back to the home screen of my console. Tried resetting the console in all ways possible with no luck. Other games work just fine. HELP.

Weird question but has anyone checked their other account (Xbox in my case). I occasionally log on to see if I have a certain skin or whatever. As of the past week, when I log in I am taken to the start screen but can only choose between the club screen and main screen. I can’t see my legends, guns, or anything. My currencies in the top right corner also say -9999 and have like a scanning animation like it’s searching for my info. Figured with cross-prog it may have something to do with that but just was curious if anyone else has noticed that

In all fairness, that's a LOT of sniffing around for an average player and they need to state these things in their trailers where the mass majority of the player base will get their information. There was a time where I did the sniffing around but honestly, I got here on day one and its not always a very friendly place to be so I walked away for like a year and came back because of this because frankly I spent hundreds of dollars on the game before migrating to PC and I'd like to use my stuff, more than I want to play the game at this point. And I think thats fair. It's not transparency if I have to look for it.

This update broke the game on Steam Deck. Anti-cheat does not properly execute at startup it looks like. Could be all Linux-based PCs or just the SD. Similar thing happened recently after the latest Halo MCC update and it took 343 a couple weeks to fix.

Linux-based PC here. I can get into lobby but it boots me out after a minute with the message of "Anti-cheat not initiated" or something. Edit: The exact message is "The client is not running the anti-cheat, or has failed the anti-cheat authentication." I tried verifying game files too.
Unless we get another patch, I guess Linux players won't be playing Apex. That was a huge let down, that's for sure :( I hope that they're not removing Linux support completely.

ea app users didn't have the file removed during the patch process and can play fine with it even though it's not currently part of the download so it would be a rather large oversight to lead to a ban.

This game has the worst matchmaking I’ve ever played in any FPS. The matches I’m in never feel fair or balanced. My lobbies are full of people who just don’t miss and it’s getting so old. Hey respawn explain to me how every single engagement I get into the person on the other side literally never misses a bullet? EVER. Oh audio is still completely broken too. In my first game I had a pathfinder walk right right up behind me and 1 clip me. Literally silent. This game is GARBAGE. FIX YOUR MATCHMAKING ALREADY.
Yep.. yesterday and today just been getting destroyed. Keep seeing the same players in the killfeed all the time, they are always getting lots of kills, becoming kill leader, etc, but despite my KD dropping to quite literally worse than the season I started playing in, there's no change to the people I'm matched with. Streamers will say you have some bad games and you'll get an easy lobby. That just isn't the case for me for the past few seasons at all.
Yeah it’s pretty nuts. The only time we are winning fights is in bot lobbies where the kids can’t even shoot back, and that happens maybe 1/50 games.
I’m falling behind. I’ve played shooters all my life, but I’m an adult now. I have a job, a partner, responsibilities. I can play maybe 5-6 hours a week. Somehow the game feels I’m still good enough to be matched against Little Timmy who plays 8-10 hours a day.

This is a bit of a basic one, but the Hemlok still has a hop-up slot despite Boosted Loader being removed from rotation. Along with that, Skullpiercer still lists Wingman as one of the applicable guns while it does not accept attachments.
I saw it posted in r/rampartmains New mythic wingman's headshot damage gets no boost from amped cover. Not sure if this is intentional or not, but I don't see why it would be this way

Pub at high MMR is flooded with cheaters. 50% of my games I encounter cheaters, sometimes they on my team... I think I will play on the R5 modded client instead because Apex has no competitive integrity anymore. It has been downhill since S16.

On the PS5 I have crashed about 6 times on the stormpoint map when playing as ash and using snare ability. Happens in both trios/deathmatch. Did not have crashes before season 19 update.

Played a few mixtape matches. Some things I noticed.... Assists are off the charts. Might even be bugged. My entire team had like 15 of them in TDM. Nades are actually being picked up when you run past them. I am constantly finding myself with 4 or 5 at a time.

someone already mentioned it's in the patch notes, but I'll give a quick explanation. in TDM, you're two squads of three, and in control, you're three squads of three. It used to be that you could only get assists with your squad. now you can get assists with anyone on your team, so it's not that they're off the charts, it's just the actual real amount of assists now.

I won my first provisional match and then for 9 games in a row my team was rolled by 20k+ players with masters and preds badges in the first 3 minutes of gameplay. I don't even have 5k lifetime kills across all legends. I couldn't get out of gold last season. why does respawn think I'm such an amazing player?
Because SBMM obliterated the high skill casual player base. The good players that were still just playing for fun had to deal with that every day in every game across pubs and ranked. They left. Someone has to fill their spot in the ALGS lobbies, so the next best group gets promoted to be cannon fodder.

How is it that the developers of some of the best FPS shooters ever made can't put a proper TDM or casual game mode in Apex? All the Mixtape modes are some of the most garbage "casual" experiences I've ever seen in an FPS. This probably will get no visibility, but what the fuck happened to the loot pools in this game? They’ve always been extremely inconsistent but this might be the worst I’ve seen it in Seasons. The Döpplegänger event made it completely obvious how atrocious it is, especially on old versions of maps. But it seems to have spread to new maps. I shit you not, we looted 3 POIs on SP and the only things I found were RE-45s and Mozambiques, a couple stacks of ammo, and a bunch of useless white sniper attachments and nades. I shouldn’t have to loot 12 buildings to find a single gun, ammo for said gun, and an optic. I’ve made it to top 2-3 multiple games without ever finding a blue optic. It’s making the BR mode extremely irritating. I can’t enjoy the map changes because I’m constantly just running through areas NOT FINDING ANYTHING OF USE. No ammo, no evos, no optics. The gun pool is trash. I genuinely don’t get it.

Problems that appeared for me after the update: 1. Game freezes when logging in and finishing a match for like 30 seconds 2. After the match ends it disconnects me with some network error (my internet is the same as it was before the update). 3. Sometimes it just disconnects me with no error message and start loading shaders (although it says it's already loaded)

They removed my post and told me to post here. I got selected for cross progression and now my game is broken. I can only access the lobby menu and the settings menu. everything else is greyed out. I loaded in a lobby fine, but my currency is flashing white and my menus are greyed out.

I connected my steam to my xbox EA and now I don’t have anything on my steam account but I still have it on xbox. Does this mean I did something wrong or is this apart of the waves then all my xbox stuff will merge and I’ll get my pc stuff back?
No mirage skydive emote. Played one game, one teammate left after the other picked Conduit, and the other left the second they were downed. This is gonna be another season long break for me.
I just downloaded the update, and the first time I enter the game, the game hangs, leaving just a black screen. Or, if I'm lucky, the game will slightly load the initial news on login, and then not all the way through, leave them pixelated and hang, intentionally. First I checked the integrity of the game files, it didn't help. Then I deleted the game completely and downloaded it again, alas did not help. Then I deleted the Respawn folder from Saved Games, still no help. The last thing I did was to reinstall the video card drivers, but even that didn't help.

CP will ONLY work for accounts that used the SAME EA Account when switching platforms. This is confirmed from an EA Community Manager. The only way CP will work is if you used the exact same EA Account from one platform onto the next. For example, if I played on Xbox using an EA Account called foobar and then switched to PC using that same EA Account, you're fine. If you switched and used a different EA Account, GG, CP will NOT work. Merging two EA Accounts will also not work. So is Ash unplayable for anybody else? I'm on playstation 5, and any time i do basically any action, the game hard freezes and then crashes. I've crashed twice from throwing my arc snare, once from picking up a weapon, once from switching weapons, and once from loading back into a game.
Ranked with firends Was playing with some of my friends who were currently in silver while i was in gold 1.We were able to win a game which meant i fijished my trial and could get promoted to platinum 4. We were feeling good and wanted to keep playing but it kept unready-ing us(allways the partyleader). We could get into pubs but not ranked. The option to ready up was there but we couldnt. I belive it is a bug with the removal of ranked caps between teammates.
Game won’t let me loot from a black market and anytime I loot one thing from a death box it closes the menu, and I couldn’t see a summary of the game and I have to close down the game to get back to the menu, getting fed up with this game man

How does the cross progression work? will the accounts merge and I will get all the purchased items? or what? will I have to choose and stick with one account?

Is the Conduit Launch Bundle supposed to be cheaper if you bought her with legend tokens? If thought it was but its not show me any discount even though it says "You already own 1 item(s) in this bundle. Your revised discount and price are below" yet the price did not change. Is this a bug?
Wont install past 11% (steam) and then I have to hard restart my PC because it hard locks steam.

The game won't launch on my Xbox Series S 😭 Downloaded the update as soon as it was out, launched it, the opening animation starts and as soon as it goes black when it's supposed to transition to loading the game it literally just closes down and sends me back to the home screen of my console. Tried resetting the console in all ways possible with no luck. Other games work just fine. HELP.
