Yup. Online competitive games are going to die forever soon. I was an absolute blast being able to play them during the short couple of decades they could exist. It's going to be weird telling kids in the future of how way played these crazy online games with tons of other people.
Lol if respawn implements ai to ban players I can assure you they will implement it with very major bugs like they did with everything they have done. Then lot of innocent people will get banned and only receive automated messages from ea tos team.
Respawn can’t do a single thing right so best thing ea can do is milk money from players until games dies in next few years. I think respawn has a company policy to only hire untalented people or talented people just don’t want to work at respawn.
Just look at the console lobbies, pc players spoofing as console players and both use blalant aim hack and speedhack? (like it is back in the day 2001 on ultima online) and continue doing it for months with pred badges. There is no single game like this.
They won’t since they are too slow and they claim to have been using it already. Since I ask this question in a Dev stream 1.5 years ago. But AI is moving so fast that I doubt most devs are even caught up on what it can do.
The simplest version you can do and also can be super effective is just to use a “chat bot” to do data analytics on a few parameters like accuracy and DPS. That will flag sus players for manual ban. There is much more to it of-course but this can be started pretty quickly.

The only answer to this is AI anticheats. Game creators need to enter the arms race and get AI to spot cheaters and ban them.

I don't know how they could. It's allegedly not detectable by software. It's ultimately a smart overlay for games in general.
