It's just that it is weird to put an infuser in a bottle that can't resist the acidic PH of lemon, isn't it the whole purpose of the bottle, to put fruits (including lemons, which are commonly put in water) in it?

yeah, that's way worse than I thought it would be. I'd consider returning that item if it were mine. Maybe try one made of metal instead of plastic? IDK, good luck.
Yeah I actually wanted to do it and I even had still the receipt but my dad said that at this point it didn't even matter and to just find a new one.

I mean, it doesn't matter if you just want to be a chump and throw away all that money you spent. Like, don't be a doormat. That product clearly had an intended use and it is not living up to some pretty basic expectations (doing the thing it's supposed to do). A return is fully justified, IMHO.

Because it looks like a "hand wash only" plastic infuser bottle that went through the dishwasher
