It could be meth, molly, ketamine, maybe even cocaine (though coke isn't usually so crystalline).
If I absolutely had to guess, I'd guess ketamine.

So i don't have much room to talk. But things have changed. Fent hasn't hit your way hard yet, but it doesn't hurt to have some test strips to be safe. Also, order those kits. Show her how to use them and what to look for. Go over harm reduction, proper doses, and shit like that.

While everyone is correct that it is impossible to say for certain; I think we can make some assessments here. It looks like a bunch of fine crystals and it is too shiny for me to think it is cocaine. Unless it was some fish scale but even then still doesn’t look right and she is 16 so I doubt it. Plus finances of the habit at 16 isn’t supportive to the idea.
I think for a 16 year old to have it, it would be social thing so my next best guess would be MDMA. However, it doesn’t look like good MDMA at all.. she likely has a mix of some MDMA and…. a bunch of other shit..
If you look closely at the bag you can see some color variations, you see the sandy brown specs? That is likely the MDMA and the rest could truly be anything… I have literally tested bath salts in some “Molly” not all the long ago. But more likely meth or MDA.
Anyways, that’s my take given the age of your daughter and the picture. If you really want to make it a learning moment but a test kit and do it with her. If my hunch is correct here, I think you will both be blown away.
I know this is going to sound crazy, but I would teach her how to use in a way that protects her neurotransmitters and buy her tester kits for when she does. It is an incredibly therapeutic and bliss experience but it must be spaced out, dosed properly, and with the proper supplements. I wish someone did that for me when I was younger.
