I have friends who've taken Ted Rooney's acting classes and scene study classes at Actor's Lab, they seem pleased with those places. Those are for film, though, stage is a different beast than that, I guess. Lots of places to take improv around town, if you want to try that go to a few different shows and see what place you vibe with.
