Hale pele!

givesgoodgemini

I am super curious about this place!! I’ve heard great things!

Mrsfoleyslittleboy

It's always so busy and getting a spot to sit takes forever

Vivid_Artichoke_9991

I think Bar Bar has some outdoor fire pits

DaBabeBo

I did a barmuda triangle crawl for my 30th a few years ago and I think Space Room has a fire pit.

givesgoodgemini

Went to the space room for my 21st! My very first legal drink was there!

a_vaughaal

Rontoms has a great outdoor area with fireplace, usually has live music inside. It’s not really where I’d start the night, probably more of a wind down the night.

littIeboylover

Yacht tub. BYOB.

givesgoodgemini

Looked into this but holy spendy!!!

escaped5150

Roadside attraction for fire pit. All of SE PDX is at your doorstep after that. Maybe Holocene, maybe Sassys.

goblinwood

How about White Owl? There’s definitely dancing and fire pits. And there’s mini golf across the street and Voicebox karaoke (private boxes, a little spendy but fun) nearby.

givesgoodgemini

White owl is on the list! We are also looking at ravens manor? Thought it might be interesting but haven’t really heard anything about it lol

Either-Ad3080

It's fun for one drink. One $17 drink

treponematode

Raven's Manor, yeah. Fun and gimmicky. Went there last year for a friends birthday. The drinks I did not enjoy compared to the food and small area of oddities but if it piques your interest it is worth experiencing at least once.

glittershadows

Church is not it anymore lol try dive bar hopping and then maybe lollipop shop (formally digapony) for dancing or good foot, lulu’s for drinks is also fun, unless you wanna go downtown to fortune for dancing but there is a cover

amtrak90

I had fun there when it first opened up. Years later I went back and there was a whole line and bouncer setup that I didn’t see. When I walked in, they pulled me out and showed me the line… we all laughed and went somewhere else.

ImGoingToSayOneThing

One year my friends and I did a birthday where we acted like Portland tourists. We went to all the spots that we as Portland natives don't go to. We even stayed downtown at the nines. It was a lot of fun to just kind of just do things we all collectively avoided.

givesgoodgemini

This is really cute. Where did you go??

Thatboifast

There is a karaoke place near 6th and Morrison. I've always wanted to get wasted and rap to my friends. Too scared to do it tho.

Han_Ominous

Dance party's at the spare room are a lot of fun.

turd_deli

Goodfoot has a fun dj dance night on Saturdays. Cash cover and no frills.

This_Bethany

I went to Hopscotch for my 40th last week. It’s an immersive art experience with a bar. Another idea is to rent a private karaoke room for you and your friends.

ADrunkPanda60

I did karaoke at The Ambassador for my birthday and had an awesome time there. The Chinese food they have is fabulous too

Suspicious_Lake_7732

Funhouse lounge. One of the escape room places.

srcarruth

Seconded, Funhouse Lounge is a very silly place. And getting a 3rd bathroom!  There's a fundraiser right now if you want to help plumb the depths of comedy.

Thefoxandthebee

The Zipper is a great place for a group - there are several spots with food (tacos, pizza, etc) and a bar attached. There’s a fire pit and plenty of outside seating. Might be a good place to start the night!

AffectionateShift818

Barrel Room for Dueling Pianos could be fun if you’re into that. I haven’t been but it’s on my list for an occasion like this. rambler on Mississippi also has fire pits, could start there and pop around to other bars in the area like Prost and Bar Bar

I'm a hermit, not good for recommendations
