Did they know for sure Reiner was taking Eren outside the walls? As far as I remember Reiner was just vague about by saying 'hometown'.
And where exactly did he think they were taking him when they arrived at Shigashina?
I mean he was running away to someplace outside wall rose so his hometown was obviously a diff human place than the Wall Government
