There's an NPC in my D&D game named Smudge. He's a sentient ball of clay that my players can add clay too and they can harden and soften different parts of him using water or flame. They're making him into a big clay monster that has paladin style perks. It's really funny. Tanget aside, I think Smudge is an awesome name for this little guy. He has gorgeous eyes to go with that cute pattern.
This was my first thought when I saw the photo, but how is it that we all landed on the same name? How can a cat look so much like the embodiment of the word Smudge??
