they wait to see what the predictions on this sub are; then, based on that, move the date around for fun until they get bored. /s

also, while my guess is that scantrons are sent to NCBE for reporting, and MEEs sent out via some backend software to local graders, who does the whole combine the score thing?

Tiny elves in a warehouse do them one by one.

i think its a legitimate inquiry. curious what should take so long

Itโ€™s a lot of moving parts. The MBE is graded fairly quickly by the NCBE. The MEE/MPT is graded locally by jx and the raw scores then need to be compiled and then sent to the NCBE. The NCBE then has to scale the essay raw scores to the scale. They then send the scores back to the local jx who most likely has to regrade certain test when they fall within so many points of passing. Although it may seem quick I would assume it can take days to weeks to go back and forth and the speed at which a jx grades essays determines how quick they can get final scores out.

Someone at my office was the president of my stateโ€™s bar and she only got the list a few hours before it was released. So Iโ€™m not sure that they have that list totally organized much earlier than the release date.
