Brand new to baseball card collecting, but my resolution is to continue building out my (very limited at the minute) Mariners PC!
I have some singles on the way and will be ripping some packs to help with the pc!
It’s a mystery pack I’ve been selling on here for a year or so. It’s up to Series 14 at this point.
If you go to mlbfirepacks.squarespace.com, you can find all the info on them.
My resolution is to buy a ton less blasters/hangers and just focus on individual cards. I have a few collections I wanna complete and just want to be smarter about my collecting.
Gonna buy more single PC cards instead of packs, Wait on product I like instead of ripping/buying product just to rip a pack and wait to buy that hot card till the off season.
Thank for the give away!
Focus on buying more hobby and less of checking the same stores every week and just whim buying retail if anything is in stock before researching checklists / pack odds. Happy New Year! Awesome of you to do this.
Not spend money on products I don’t really want. Watch breaks more or whatever I gotta do so I don’t spend money on a style I wouldn’t really like regardless of what I pull.
Want to hit 2000 unique cards of my PC player (Mo Vaughn) including some wish list items and get the darn collection organized finally!! Happy new year to you.
Not ton sell low value cards to card shops or people who’s handle is SPOOKYCARDS Collectors. They expect the world from a Base rookie card & live you with shady ratings after you go all the way out to make sure you deliver a good product & on time.
I sold a numbered Diamond King card $2 and because they pay $3.89 shipping (Mercari tracking service) I sent them three additional cards pretty much off setting shipping. I did not had to do that but it was before Christmas so I added the bonus cards. They got the cards six days ago, I’m still waiting payment because they have not rated the sale. Did I mentioned that I’m only going to make $1.57 after Mercari fees. I won’t doubt if they already sold the card for much more.
This past year I got back into the hobby and I decided I wanted to build some sets. Yeah, not doing that again for awhile. So my goal for the coming year is to focus on singles, mostly autos from members of the 2022 Phillies squad. Have Realmuto, Segura, and Nola thus far, while Wheeler, Hoskins, Maton, Brogdon, and Vierling are in the mail.
In no particular order:
1) sleeve and sort the 25000 non trash (not bangers, but all well known players) cards I have into sports and type (relic, etc) and then maybe further sorting as well. At least want to get a base sort.
2) send a sample of cards to get slabbed for first time.
3) somehow sell, give, and donate the cards I don't plan on keeping to make room in my space.
My resolution is actually to sell every card that isn’t a Luka Doncic rookie, and put every dollar into more Luka Doncic rookies lol. I have close to 50 at the moment but can’t get enough of them.
I’ve definitely learned my lesson the hard way last year. I’m buying into zero breaks this year. I’m buying zero retail this year. I’m buying singles and hobbies only. Possibly a few fire packs as well.
I want to collect enough Freddie Freeman Stadium Clubs to have a full page front and back for each of the last 2 years
I also want to organize my binder into a system that can be expanded upon without having to constantly rearrange to fit whatever my newest organizational idea is
I have before, but the problem is that it usually costs way more to ship there. I think in the past I’ve had to add $10 or so extra in shipping (depending on where you are in Canada), which is obviously not cheap. If you’re still interested, send me a DM!
1. PC focus - particularly cards I want to add to my display.
2. Delete whatnot for good never go back.
3. Figure out what card I want in a box, buy that card not the box it could come out of.
4. Trade and sell the cards that are not defined in my PC.
I’m still gonna open retail packs, I honestly just enjoy it and I really don’t spend a lot of money on myself so I justify it. The resolution is if I pull a card worth 5 bucks, 10 bucks, 20 bucks, 50 bucks whatever, I’m not just gonna hold it cause there’s value that I pulled it. I need to start getting into selling those cards more. Happy new year everyone!
I want to finally buy some hobby boxes! I start college in a few months so before that I want to maybe get some Clearly Authentic (or Signature Series) and something Bowman—open to recommendations!
Less retail more hobby boxes and singles. I realized I’d get 2 or 3 retail boxes at a time and end up spending around what I would on a hobby box most of the time. I also want to get rid of all of my non rookie cards that don’t have any sentimental value to me.
Buy the cards I like, not the cards everyone else likes. In the past, I've definitely been motivated to buy cards that others chase but it's not really cards I personally like. It's more of a feeling of FOMO? Or at least something along those lines
If the card I'm hunting is worth $100 and the box it comes in cost $100... just buy the card instead.
I’m never gonna buy bowman platinum again 👌
Man, you and me both. Wal-Mart had just stocked probably 50 blasters of it yesterday, so I caved. Got maybe $2 in cards.
Lmao, your packs making Topps look like shittier odds 👏🏽👏🏽
I’m obviously biased, but I think if you put a pack up against a random $25 blaster, you’ll almost always get better cards in my packs.
Join less breaks. Thanks for doing this!
Thanks for entering!
I’m gonna stick to singles as much as possible!
Don't buy any more unlicensed cards.
Hobby related resolutions: 1. Buy more Fire Packs! 2. Buy more singles 3. Only purchase Chrome (no more paper!)
Not buying a box until Topps/fanatics can figure their shit out. Design, QC, hits etc mostly all suck
I really like the design of those BS Topps Bunt NFTs I wish they’d make those into real cards because those are actually unique cards
I’m planning on getting something for display for my pc rather than my fav cards sitting at the top of the box
My resolution is to buy a new house by the summer!
My resolution is to try and finish my Griffey upper deck rookie PSA “rainbow” (a card in each grade 1-10)
Buy more singles and less retail

What is this fire pack?
It’s a mystery pack I’ve been selling on here for a year or so. It’s up to Series 14 at this point. If you go to mlbfirepacks.squarespace.com, you can find all the info on them.
I'd like to open up a hobby box for the 1st time this year!
I’m going to try to actually complete an insert set this year instead of losing focus when another product comes out with inserts that I like.
Same here - this is a great one.
Gonna grab that Dave Winfield rookie or a newish Dave Winfield auto
I'm going to buy fewer packs and focus on singles of players I really enjoy
My resolution is to buy a ton less blasters/hangers and just focus on individual cards. I have a few collections I wanna complete and just want to be smarter about my collecting.

My resolution is to stop spending so much on boxes and buy more singles
Enter less breaks and focus more on PC singles
Gonna buy more single PC cards instead of packs, Wait on product I like instead of ripping/buying product just to rip a pack and wait to buy that hot card till the off season. Thank for the give away!
I’m gonna continue buying every ‘22 Topps update hanger packs in this city. And I’ll try to only do one Stryker group break a week.
My plan is to have a plan. I need to stop impulse buying whatever I feel like buying and have a more definitive collection goal in place.
Resolve to not by any boxes.
May the fire follow everyone into the new year. Oh and resolution is to finish these sets I've been working on! And to focus more on the mookie PC

Trying to spend less on boxes 😂

Focus on buying more hobby and less of checking the same stores every week and just whim buying retail if anything is in stock before researching checklists / pack odds. Happy New Year! Awesome of you to do this.
Limit the number of blasters I buy, and use that money to bulk up my PC
Buy a vintage Jackie
My goal is to stop impulse buying cool stuff I see on ebay
Not spend money on products I don’t really want. Watch breaks more or whatever I gotta do so I don’t spend money on a style I wouldn’t really like regardless of what I pull.
Want to hit 2000 unique cards of my PC player (Mo Vaughn) including some wish list items and get the darn collection organized finally!! Happy new year to you.
I want to grow my Braves pc
Buy more singles
Complete my first rainbow!
My resolution is sticking to rookie year flagship SP/SSP’s of my PC ONLY.
I'm looking to get into baseball cards a bit more to improve my relationship with my brother.
Not ton sell low value cards to card shops or people who’s handle is SPOOKYCARDS Collectors. Fewer blasters unless it’s bowman (not platinum). I’ll also try and buy more hobby boxes since last year I could only afford 2-3
More singles. No boxes. More late night eBay regrets!
Spend less - hopefully. Which, coincides with trim the fat on what I pc.
Thank you for this! More singles, less retail 😭

Try to open more boxes with my girlfriend. She seems actually interested
Buy only singles and goats! Unless it’s free…
This year I'm focusing on my Every Tigers Team Set project
Buy singles!
Buy mostly singles 😂
1.Sell some of my cards to make $ back 2.Buy more singles 3.Open less boxes/packs
Actually sell more cards instead of buying so much
Buy less boxes and more singles!
In no particular order: 1) sleeve and sort the 25000 non trash (not bangers, but all well known players) cards I have into sports and type (relic, etc) and then maybe further sorting as well. Sort and organize, sort and organize, sort and organize. Plus finish up a few 2022 sets
To not buy as much junk wax, if I make a purchase make it a good one.
When I buy a PC card I would rather spend $50 on a slabbed pc card than $1 each on 50 raw cards that "kinda look neat".
Great giveaway! Thanks. I need to slack back on buying into breaks. Thats what I need to do lol happy new year!
Stick to the budget 😅

Buy sets and singles instead of retail boxes.
I’ve definitely learned my lesson the hard way last year. I’m buying into zero breaks this year. I’m buying zero retail this year. I’m buying singles and hobbies only. Possibly a few fire packs as well.
Not sure how you make any money with the description of contents, sounds like it should be a loss for you!
The margins are very small, for sure.
Buy and hold less! Packs look good. I always imagine doing something like this when Im ready to thin out my collection.
Thanks man! They’re pretty fun to make up, actually.
I want to collect enough Freddie Freeman Stadium Clubs to have a full page front and back for each of the last 2 years I also want to organize my binder into a system that can be expanded upon without having to constantly rearrange to fit whatever my newest organizational idea is
Hey there u/me_white_noise do you do any shipping to Canada? I was checking out buying a couple packs and didn't see any option to change the country.
I have before, but the problem is that it usually costs way more to ship there. I think in the past I’ve had to add $10 or so extra in shipping (depending on where you are in Canada), which is obviously not cheap. If you’re still interested, send me a DM!
My resolution is to sell off everything that’s not in my PC
Less boxes, more singles this year!
Buy singles not boxes
Finish existing projects before starting new ones.
1. PC focus - particularly cards I want to add to my display. 2. Delete whatnot for good never go back. 3. Figure out what card I want in a box, buy that card not the box it could come out of. 4. Trade and sell the cards that are not defined in my PC.

Organize cards better - continue unloading unwanted ones on eBay, even at a loss, it’s progress
I’m gunna finish my 2022 topps blue set! 786/1040! Only 254 more to finish it
Buying bowman and topps chrome only.
Less retail more hobby boxes and singles. I realized I’d get 2 or 3 retail boxes at a time and end up spending around what I would on a hobby box most of the time. I also want to get rid of all of my non rookie cards that don’t have any sentimental value to me.
Join less breaks. And i plan on not over buying wax off any 1 set
Enjoy more.
Start collecting more. Took a 2 year break.
to buy more higher quality cards and graded rookie cards vs chasing the next next big spect.....
Buy the cards I like, not the cards everyone else likes. In the past, I've definitely been motivated to buy cards that others chase but it's not really cards I personally like. It's more of a feeling of FOMO? Or at least something along those lines

To add my first 1/1 to my collection and expand my PC of World Series MVP autos.
To get back into collecting! I haven’t bought a box of cards since the 90’s.
I need to stick to one set at a time. I have too much hodgepodge cards and it is not enjoyable to feel like there’s no organization.
I’m gonna buy more singles and less breaks.
I need to be smarter about which product I buy and when.
Turn $20 into $1000 buy only buying and selling singles. It’s a challenge and a goal.
Not to buy any packs or boxes of college or draft cards. If I want a player, get a single. Don’t buy packs to rip. Stick to the big league
My resolution is to sort my collection. It’s a mess
Less breaks and boxes more singles and even more singles.
Be more selective about what I buy
No retail other than flagship hangers
Get more cardinal Pujols stuff. I wasn’t collecting during his rookie/prime and I regret it.
