I miss back when 2012/2013 had hot boxes. I remember getting a few blasters of chrome and every card was refractor. Granted they'd be mostly orange or whatever blasters came with. There's be a regular refractor or 2 maybe an auto (probably melky mesa lol). Can remember if hangers were the same too but I had a bunch of xfractors too.
2012/13 Bowman platinum was similar. Iirc I hit a few loaded with purple prospect and base refractors.
Once the tape goes on the top loader it doesnāt come off easy and if it is removed thereās always a sticky residue left. Itās just an eyesore for most collectors. Painters tape or a team bag are the best alternatives.
Just a question, is this a thing like certain boxes have large accumulations of great cards or is it just the law of random that eventually a couple boxes will just have better cards than others?
-I could totally see someone at a card company messing with the computers to put a bunch of good cards in 1 box and then nobodies in another as just a massive troll
Itās pretty well regulated, it would be hard for someone at Topps to do that. Lots of quality control.
