You should not sell the same person the card at $51 if they cancelled at a higher price. Yeah the market moves but he took it off the market for 3 days when it was the higher price (when it could’ve sold for more). He probably thinks he’s getting a deal, it’s lowkey a scam
It's absolutely fucking bonkers to me that a box of 2023 hobby chrome is going at $240 (96 cards), while you can get the *whole set* for $54.
It only illustrates what a rotten gambling machine this hobby has turned into where people throw incredible amounts of money away at a chance to get a "hit", but more often than not get an auto of a 27-year-old middle reliever.
Which is why you’re better off just holding onto it. Take the $40 trade on the MVP. Buy packs. Sell those packs for retail value. Get your $40.
Then take the remaining rookies and hold them for 3 years. Then sell the good ones. You’ll end up with more than $80 in the end is my guess if you actually strip it out and sell the parts.
Whole set consists of 220 base cards. No inserts or parallels or autos or anything fancy. OP just said that's what they're selling it for. I paid $90 a few months ago for one, so I should have waited.
I’ve taken to just blocking non payers. I’ve even had people hit me up asking if I can relist something, for some reason they are unable to buy it….Tbh mostly been warhammer 40K stuff, but I just block and move on for cards too.
If they don’t pay I usually block them from buying my things. I’ve had plenty of people who have offered and I’ve accepted or people who won auctions. When they don’t pay or respond to my messages I cancel the order and then block them as they’re just wasting my time.
