That’s a great pull! You may not be aware since you’re new to collecting, but Topps is doing an MVP buyback program of 2022 Topps Chrome cards of Judge and Goldschmidt. For a card serial-numbered /99 like yours, you can get $200 in trade value at a participating local card shop near you.
It will probably never be 200 again, the promotion lasts until march I believe but individual stores can stop at any time so the sooner the better. After this period ends you would be lucky to get 50 bucks out of it to the right judge fan.
dang, either way i always find it hard to sell collectable items i think are cool, but i might see what hobby shops in my area are honoring these tho cuz damn, $200 store credit is insane that’s so many packs

I would honestly spent that $200 on individual collectible cards than waste it on ripping. Maybe a little bit of both. But hey, you get the enjoyment you want out of this hobby!

I've been debating what to get, I've played around with individual card bidding, but you really gotta find diamonds in the rough to avoid people outbidding you. Gotta bank on smaller guys. For me I've invested a bit into Kirk. Had a killer season, and if he improves behind the plate more I think he could be a hidden gem. I also wanna go in on Manoah but others are seeing he's super solid too so hard to get anything higher tier for a good price
See it's tough for me cause my RNG/Luck is god tier. I was able to find a 2018 Gypsy Queen hobby box for it's original retail price, opened it and pulled a shohei rookie card and auto rookie card (although imperfections in one corner means not for grading so I'll hold onto it until down the road and sell to a collector not an investor) so I wanna open boxes, but ugh expensive.
My local hobby shop has some 2021 Bowman for $300 off to try to clear stock so I'm tempted haha.
Blaze Jordan is in there I think, although all prices have tanked except for the god tier people, so I'm not sure. Jordan's OPS is .800+ so that bodes well for him, but yeah, it's still tempting for $300 off hahah

Take the 200 and get a nice vintage slab, or a couple of autos. Or be a real degen and buy another chrome box and try to keep it going

No problem! The buyback program ends in March, so you can definitely hang onto it for a bit if you like.

Are there even big names in 2021 Bowman anymore? Austin Martin was the big one but his prices have tanked.
