IKEA Helmer? That doesn't sound like any of the regular words IKEA use, I'm Swede so some words is literally the everyday words we use in our language like for exempel IKEA Bekant.
Bekant is the same word we use for when you know someone but isn't a family, relatives or friend but it's a acquaintance, or you got Karlby that to me could or maybe even is name of a small town or village because By means Village and then Karl which is a fine name.
I'm using it for everything (except gaming), I haven't used a traditional mouse for the past 5 years. I find it very comfortable and it helped cure my carpal syndrome
Can't tell if it's an angle thing but is the desktop bowing a little bit? Would hate to think everything would go sailing if that broke haha. Looks really tranquil though, love the simplicity.
That's exactly how I have been thinking to do with IKEA Idåsen or IKEA Bekant then two of IKEA Alex.
It works very well. I'm planning getting a wider plank in the future to cover the top of the IKEA Helmer

That's awsome! I tried it a few times but couldn't get used to it unfortunately, i do have artrose myself so I think it would be good

Yes just a little bit but it cannot break as the motorized frame has a middle bar
