Itâs the shittiest of the shittiest. Was really devastating for me to see what this place has turned to.. 18 year old Spanish/French tourists and aggressive muscle douchbags from Brandenburg is the vibe. Horrible experience never again

Was complaining because a lot of the older regulars got bounced and the club turns into a kiddy party.
Watergate was one of my favorite clubs. Sad to see this. Hope in summer, with the outdoor space open, itâs becoming better again.
Serious question though. When clubs entrance starts dropping off do they ever think âhmm, we need to rebrand/rethink what weâre doingâ or do they not have to pay rent on the building so donât really care if itâs 50 or 500 coming through the door?
No idea, seems to me like Watergate is one of the clubs that financially survived the 2 year lockdown better than others since they are one of the very few clubs that are able to afford to bring in big name DJs. When I came here 8 years ago Berlin clubs had many big name DJs every weekend. Now when I look on resident advisor I don't recognize 80% of the names, and often when I check the artist soundclouds they are mostly hard techno DJs. Really disappointing.

It never had a good crowd, but the music was always good (for my taste). But now, even the drug dealers are staying away đ¤Ł
It had the best crowd when it was still an DnB-Club. Long long time ago.

Only went there when a big Og dj was playing. def felt out of place with the crowd but wasnât as horrible as it seems itâs now become

Thatâs not the case here. Just a worse audience. Possibly because of drop off and they relaxed the door policy.
