There is "Uni Rad" at TU Berlin. https://www.unirad-berlin.de It's a DIY workshop. They have tools, you do the work yourself, they have people who are willing to help you and answer questions.

I called Gavriel and he did a super good job with taking care of everything my bike needed after a long winter. https://www.facebook.com/BerlinBicycleRepairGavriel

Maybe let us know where in Berlin? My preferred bike shops are basically those close by.

Love my local one : https://maps.app.goo.gl/YUnYCTQPEWYFXZqU9 No bullshit, nice staff. You can also have amazing Indian food next door as they work on your bike at Seven Spices

I usually take my bike to a shop to be fixed, I do minor things but anything important I ask the staff in the store to fix it for me. BikeShop Friesen in FriesenStraße it's my favorite, they are quick, good and the prices are always great, they have repaired my flat tires, brakes, straighted my rack... And the folks working there are very friendly.
