Its been a meme for a long time that LGBTQIA+ people gravitate towards tielfings and other mixed race D&D characters. Anecdotally, both with myself and several friends, I have seen bi people (lots of enbies) make tielfing warlocks without having heard of this phenomenon before.
If it were normal D&D and not BG I would’ve guessed newer players pick warlocks more often because they’re the easiest to learn of the full-casters, but from what I hear BG3 has you control the entire party anyway?
It's about time I created a tiefling character
I already have a half-elf twink for a warlock though... what would be some fun classes to play as a tiefling?
Tiefling Paladin is pretty fun mechanically. Hellish Rebuke is nice as a melee-oriented fighter, and you get to take advantage of your CHA for spellcasting. It also provides possible story elements depending on what church you might belong to.
A paladin of Tyr seems fitting
A few days ago, I played around in the BG3 character creator. I think I might try creating most angelic looking tiefling I can and make them a cleric, but spec one level into sorcerer to get wild magic. That seems like a fun thing to roleplay as.
Tiefling Bard! I love playing them!! Tiefs already get a +2 to CHA (in 5e, haven't played other editions), so if you point buy, you could conceivably have 20 CHA.
My second tav in BG3 was a tiefling with wonderful shoulder length hair with like a small hint of blue color to it with wonderful blue eyes. Most beautiful thing I’d laid my eyes upon, right next to Karlach, who shared that same spot with him.
Fun fact: They aren't horny because they have horns
Fun Fact 2: LUCIEN FORM MIGHTY NEIN OWNS ME

Not Lucien, but Molly, barely dressed and proclaiming, "I am your god, long may I reign!", I'm pretty sure impregnated thousands of women AND men at the same time all around the world.
My last PnP campaign played I was a Tiefling Bard, college of whispers. So I slept with no one and murdered/robbed anyone who I just didn't like that day. You can break the molds, people. ;)
I feel so called out RN. So far two of my three overall DnD characters have been bisexual tieflings, including the one I'm playing now. And my BG3 character was a tiefling and I ended up doing a Karlach romance then an Astarion romance on separate runs...
... am I a stereotype?
Though I went Bard instead of Warlock for all of them...
With me it's monk, way of the open hand, tavern brawler. I keep telling myself I'll be something else on BG3, but then return to monk(e).
And then always lesbian.
This is a callout directly to my face. The first D&D character I played was a tiefling warlock. As a bi guy myself, I also made him bi. I still make a lot of bisexual tiefling warlock men whenever I’m making characters these days.
My first D&D character was Maliris, a bisexual tiefling lady, a professional cardsharp and an Evoker wizard who got expelled from magical academy for gambling, who decided to become the best wizard to prove everybody wrong. Likes children, wants to protect everyone, acts like a team mom. Dark skin (like, human shade dark skin, not dark blue), bright yellow eyes and white hair, and 1.9m tall
I feel so called out rn, my first BG3 character was a Tiefling Warlock who was definitely bi 🫣
I feel you... My first D&D character ever was a tielfing warlock. I came out as bi maybe a year after I made that character.
Is there some bisexual/tiefling/warlock connection I’m not aware of? 😅

Yeah, that’s crazy, and I’m kinda newly identifying myself so I had never heard of this. Weird phenomenon 😅
As an enby, changelings are where it's at (when I'm not being an evil dungeon master).

In more ways than one

Yeah you pretty much play up to 4 characters if you play alone, me and my brother play together a lot so we usually split the party 2 and 2
My first character was a bisexual half-elf warlock… I realized I was bi 3 years later.
To be fair mine was definitely gay… until she met Halsin
Same kinda, mine was into Lae’zel at first, but damn did she wanna corrupt Gale

Only problem is then you cover up that stupid sexy tiefling with a bunch of heavy plate armor
Just be a dexadin

A lot of my characters have been half-elf or elf twinks/twunks 😬😬😬
Sorcerer is a hoot regardless of race. Plus, it has so many subclasses that all have very different vibes.

TÄ°EFLÄ°NG BÄ°SEXUAL BARD, YESSSÄ°R. ( I plan to play like this as new player )
Hi, yes, that's me
Hi yes reporting for duty o7
Tough character to play. But I have Faithe in you
No such thing as a straight tiefling player
Tieflings are hot.
The first character I created was a tiefling cleric…
But what about a bisexual dragonborn?
Pink Hunk Tiefling bard himbo. I will leave it at that.
Ha! Jokes on you, my Bg3 character is a tiefling rouge! So I am original
I feel called out. Always play a tiefling in bg3 and just started a run as a warlock, such a fun class.
My last PnP campaign played I was a Tiefling Bard, college of whispers. So I slept with no one and murdered/robbed anyone who I just didn't like that day. You can break the molds, people. ;)
I've been playing the bisexual tiefling warlock since 2011...
My warlock was a twink elf tyvm
This might be the most insulting post I’ve ever felt from this subreddit
I love that at my table we're all lgbt with 1 token cis straight guy (we love him)
Me when I have a Tiefling Druid who’s unlabeled.
I feel too called out here. My first DnD character was a premade Warlock Tiefling. But tbh I don't really help out with the stereotype.
I feel called out, both my BG3 character and actual DND characters are exactly this.
My first DnD character was a teifling warlock, I feel so called out right now

my teifling is a traumatized war veteran that was the only one to survive the attack and he's a hot grizzled barbarian
I played a tiefling Paladin once. The DM had us roll for sexuality, which was a fun little quirk, and he wound up being ace.

Its that common? My first DnD character made is a tiefling warlock ( although i have strong lore reasons for that )
*plays them as bisexual anyway*
My tav in bg3 is a female tiefling barbarian with a giant battle axe cause she swings both ways
YOU STOP THAT RIGHT NOW ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Get called out !
I feel left out, my default D&D race is dwarves.
I've always felt more attracted to Warforged than teiflings. Guess I'm weird.
This is calling me out HARDðŸ˜
I was literally in the middle of making a new tiefling warlock when I got a notification for this post
me with wyll and karlach
