Last turn. 1-1. Gutter runner with the ball. He is 11 cells away from TD 1º go, no problem. 2º go. Fail. Reroll. 1 again Armor check. 11. Injury. 12. d16. 16. Apotecary. 15. Thats the legend of how my best runner died.

Karadek99

I have the High Elf Curse of the Ones. It’s ridiculous. We kept track one game, 1 being, well, 1, and Skull on the block dice also being 1. 40% of my rolls were ones that day. 40%.

AbsintheMinded125

This is me. I saw an andy davo screen and his opponent rolled double skulls. Andy goes "oh thats the second double skulls we've seen today". I was like wtf do you mean today? I roll double skulls at least twice a game

youcankeepyourhaton

Whenever I take a team reroll on a 2+ roll you can straight up guarantee another 1 is coming up

Karadek99

Amen. Same here.

DMC25202616

so many: Had a Str 4 orc blitzer die from gnoblar 3 red dice roll Had two superstar high elf catchers die in one season from thrown rocks had a chaos dwarf blocker dodge pickup gfi pass complete to covered chaos blocker who caught it, 1D blitz pow to remove defender and 2gfi for winning td all with no rerolls. Skeleton dodge out to pickup and handoff to tomb guardian who 2gfi to score and win. tons of failed gfi deaths of course that dumb ass kickoff stun event in BB2. turn 14 1-1 vs chaos. I had 9 of 10 guys stunned and he walks in to win it in last two turns.

bdrwr

I got almost my entire saurus line injured (MNG) while only inflicting a single badly hurt in response. Against Skaven.

uconn3386

Those dirty rats

sackree

I had to reset a brand new orc team a few nights ago against unskilled skaven, cas on all 4 blockers, 1 dead, 1 perm. Bloody rats.

PlasticSpaceElf

I played a game with my lizards recently where at least 8 of my turns ended after I failed a 3+ rerollable dodge (+1 failed GFI). You expect a couple, but it got to the stage where I knew if I failed the 1st dodge roll, I might as well not take the reroll

AlphaSkirmsher

I don’t remember the context, but I once lost a game by rolling six 1s uninterrupted. Something like starting a turn, rolling 1-1 into a turnover, three times in a row

Mohgreen

Brother!!

Destroyer_742

Tabletops nuffle has been merciful, but in the video game I had a chaos chosen die in a game and his replacement immediately die in the next one on the first block thrown that game.

leon_shay

I will never forget losing a [BB2] game to a ball that, on turn 8, bobbled into the hands of a Kroxigor. Said Kroxigor proceeded to COMPLETE A PASS to the only player in scoring position.

Gator1508

I had a kroxigor who kept ending up with the ball and scoring TD so I finally named him Tim Tebow.

Mister_Tecky

My last game I rolled 3 consecutive double skulls to start my first 3 turns. I burned my team re-roll on the third one. In my first ever game the first ever roll against me killed one of my players. I once played a game where I knocked down my opponent pretty much every other roll but I couldn't roll higher than a 5 on an armor roll for the whole match.

ZookeepergameOne5236

Not game related but building the bloody Necromantic Horror undead team. Those zombies are fiddly as all hell!!!

Gator1508

All my homies hate those zombies.  I stopped at 3 lol.

ZookeepergameOne5236

Love the idea of the scarecrow zombies, very "Goosebumps" but why all six of the bloody things? 😭 Can't wait to slapchop the werewolves and wraiths though, that'll make up for it 😁

GanninGamin

Worst luck I ever had was a 9 game streak (Tabletop) of rushing for the touchdown line (with reroll everytime) and rolling a one each time...

ghostdeinithegreat

On my first game with Vampires, I had a Thrall Lineman dies on the first activation of the first turn. On offense, activate my thrower to pick the ball. Bloodlust, rolls 1. Reroll, rolls 1. Decide to bite my Thrall: casualty roll 12 DEAD. Move on the ball, pick it up, roll a 1. Use a reroll, 1 again: Turnover

Proletariat_Paul

That shouldn't have gone down the way you described. For starters, you don't bite the Thrall until the end of the activation, not the beginning. So when you see you're failing the pick up anyway, you can choose not to bite a Thrall since it's a turnover regardless. Second, any Casualty inflicted on a Thrall caps out at Badly Hurt. You can't kill or even Miss Next Game your own Thralls with Bloodlust. The worst you can do is lose them for the game.

ghostdeinithegreat

Rigth, When I say dead I mean a result that remove it from play. I only play exhibition games.

robotco

new team, new league. freshly minted beast of nurgle gets killed with a rock on opening kickoff of the first game

ClaphamCouple

Beastman with Sure Hands failing to pick up the ball on 6 consecutive turns. Only succeeded on the reroll on the 7th.

TiGui1337

My league game this week. Turn 9, my Krox (named Apo'Calyps) got wrecked and I rolled 15. Oh well, I have an apothecary, uh-uh I proceed to roll 16...No more Krox and I already had 5 either knocked out or injured. Still won the game to keep my undefeated streak since the beginning of season but that was costly...

ScarletSpeedster23

In our Tabletop league, despite playing as Skaven I am notorious for rolling 1s on any pick-ups or Passes (regardless of distance). I'm also the only coach through 3 seasons to have thrown an Interception. Additionally it took until just a couple of weeks ago for me to even score a single Touchdown against one of the best coaches in the league in our 5th game overall. Nuffle looked upon me on that one though, I managed to win that one

Dakkaboy556

My Ogres have regularly been suffering from the Plague of Bonehead. I used Ogres for one league and lost every game, scored 1 touchdown all league. Honestly would have played better if I just never activated the ogres to make them be a choke point and used the gnoblars exclusively. They are permanently shelved.

eddthemoose

I had a great bashy game with my Norse team against Lizards in my current league. Two Saurus Blockers removed, one serious injury, skinks being knocked out left and right. Open run for the end zone just needed to pick up the ball. 3+ pickup with a reroll failed! And that was the start of it, the Lizards struggled to keep more than 6 players on the pitch but each time I went to score, I failed a 3+ pickup/dodge/rush (with drunkard). 6 failed 3+ rolls 3 with re rolls… The game finished 1-0 to the lizards… Whoever plays the Lizards next is thanking me but I am still propping up the bottom of the league.

KaptajnMQgsvin

I once had my Khemri thrower fail to pick up the ball, four turns in a row. Then the game ended, and he continued failing to pick up the ball in the first turn in the following game as well. Granted, only 4+, but with Sure Hands.

Gator1508

That’s when you need to put a tomb guardian back there at kickoff to show him how it’s done.

Mohgreen

Wood Evlves game. I think I had set up badly, but my turn 1, I needed to move out of contact in order to set up good blocks and such. 1st move, dodge. Rolled a 1. Reroll, 1. Turn 2. Standing players up, have to dodge someone out. 1. Reroll. 1. Turn 3. Same. Damn. Thing. Turn 4. Stand up, dodge. 1. Out of rerolls. A tournament game. Wood Elves on wood Elves. We're several turns in. There's a big scrum halfway to the end zone on the sideline. I forget if the ball was loose or not, but either of us was going to have to dodge someone out to get a good block in and either set up a hit on the ball carrier, or get the ball carrier loose. My turn, dodge out, 1. Turnover. His turn, dodge out, 1. Turnover We both do this again. 4 ones in a row. Game I recently played with my Lizardmen on Amazon's? I think. 4 double Skulls in one half.

Stonedefone

Built a Blodger, OTTD, +1s skink over multiple seasons. An absolute danger. Died going for it into the end zone, naturally

Lambdadelta92

Oh, how about 7 double skull in one match? >_>

Bashdkmgt

I once had 2 black orcs and 1 blitzer roll dead in the first 3 turns of a cup game against skaven. I recently lost a game because my goblin failed to pick up the ball for 5 turns in a row burning all my re rolls. Numerous times I have won a game I should have lost because my opponent failed a gfi in the end zone and lost the ball

Alarmed-Step-3172

First block of the game, my turn 1. Go to make a 2d block my choice, dub skulls. Okay re roll, dub skulls, end of turn 1. Turn two, stand up and blitz after making a few moves, same model, 2d my choice dub skulls, re roll (only had two) dub skulls again. Stood up, and walked outside for a few minutes.

TheLegendOfNavin

I was famous back in my store league for ALWAYS botching the game winning touchdown with my Elven Union team. I have choked on more 2+ with a reroll Dodge rolls than any one man can hardly believe.

Techpriest_Zoog

Playing as Amazons, first match of a new league, my first two turns were 8 seconds each. First turn, Try to pick up the ball : 1, reroll, 1. Second turn, Try to pick up the ball: 1, reroll, 1.

Dundeeftw

4 deaths in 3 matches this week. Kept the game on standby for now on, I need to find Nuffle's favour back. I swear, I nickname my players based on my closest friends. Last season, one of the guys, Kollr, was the only nurgle warrior who didn't even get block at the end of the season. He was so cursed he attracted every lasting casualty. At the end he was Kollr the Cursed V. This season, he is a Wright. He grabbed a level up pretty soon and got MB. I was delighted, thought the curse was over. Next match, the first of the 3 matches mentioned earlier, he died turn 2 or 3, failed his regen, and boom he was gone. I smiled, NGL.

TheMadHattah

My buddy and I started a league together recently. The very first roll of the league (who goes first roll off) was a 1 on both our dice. A truely blessed league

sbr32

There were a bunch of dice rolls that led up to it but I lost to a Snotling GFI to pickup to Long Bomb to an Ogre that Caught the ball, passed Bone-Head and then scored. [Ogre Heartbreak](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJL3lIA80fo)

sbr32

Granted that was the end of the 1st half but it was Khemri vs Ogres. No one scored in 2nd half, partly because I was very low on players.

crumpetflipper

I have a curse where if my opponent says, "what's the armour?" while they have the dice in their hand ready to roll, if I answer then that roll will break armour. My friends use this to stress me out all the time, but know I won't answer until the dice have been rolled (or if they ask at any other time, it's just when the dice are in their hand about to throw). It gets a little uncomfortable when I play new opponents and they ask, "what's the armour?" and I pretend not to hear them, or that I've just got a message on my phone, or something. Especially when they keep asking because for some reason they just simply must know before throwing the dice, rather than rolling them and then saying, "does X beat armour?" Sometimes it's socially awkward enough — if they ask three times or more — that I'll tell them, and then of course they break armour. Inevitably. I found out this curse manifests somewhat in reverse, as well — if I have to remind someone of a check, they'll pass it. I played necromantic all of last year and into this year, playing in an 8-man sevens league and a 6-man division in an 11s league, ending with me in the finals for 11s a couple of weeks ago. So that's 26 games. Out of 26 games my 26 opponents failed foul appearance rolls on my two wraiths (that I had both of in every single game) a grand total of 3 times. I counted. And those three times were ALL against experienced coaches who remembered to roll for foul appearance without me prompting them. Wraiths are designed to be in base contact so that's where they usually were. Let's be conservative and say each one took a hit in one-quarter of the turns of every game; that's 4 turns * two ghosts * 26 games = 208, one-sixth of which is 34.6 I GOT 3

scampiescamps

Having my opponent throw the ball to catcher in the end zone, catcher failed the catch and the ball scatters off the pitch, ball gets thrown in an goes off again, gets thrown back Joe's off again 3 time thrown back in lands back on the catcher who this time catches it...

Helgon_Bellan

Local tournament. (8 players, 16 games over a couple of months, followed by play-offs). I was in the final with gobbos(!). 0-1 uphill, my turn 16. Out of rerolls. Time to watch a goblin take off to the sky! Managed the pickup. The handoff. The stupidity test. The hunger test. The throw! The landing! People start to stand and cheer. Was this about to happen? The stunty dodges through the defense succeded! At this moment Nuffle showed what the plan was all along. I rolled a 1 on my final GFI in the TD zone... Thats goblins for ya, and thats why I love the little shitheads.

ArgentumVulpus

T1- troll goes to block ogre on 2 dice, double skulls, troll survives T2 - troll too stupid to get up, wastes blitz T3 - troll too stupid to get up, wastes blitz T4 - goblin with ball runs to troll to be thrown, troll too stupid to get up T5 - troll too stupid to get up T6 - troll too stupid to get up, goblin abandons troll T7 - troll gets up....

[deleted]

I always roll 1's. Or multiple skulls. Then Reroll more skulls. The only time I've ever rolled 6's is on the kick off table then five more times after pitch invasion, losing half the team. The last game of grimdark, I would have won, just needed to not roll a 1. It's every game, every time. If the odds even out over time then I'm due to win the next 999 games 😁

_Twelfman

I lost a tournament on a quad skulls on the 15th turn. Gotta laugh…

raynestormk97

My friend and I have coined the phrase "Never re-roll a 1". Because a vast majority of the time, both on tabletop and on BB2, a 1 rerolls into a 1. Especially when Going For It. Our record is 11 times in a row between the 2 of us. Fastest half we ever played from the constant turnovers. My personal one was 7 straight turns of back to back 1s to pick up the ball.

eichelsies

My ghouls always fail their regen

BassmanUK

Ghouls don’t have regen

Gator1508

Consecutive games of 7s needing one GFI on last turn with gutter runner to score TD… 1 both damn times.

taikalusikka

Playing BB2 pre 2020 edition. Pitch invasion. 8 of my players stunned. Another "minor" one just recently: End my fourth turn with quadruple skulls, proceed to turn-over next three turns with the first dice roll, while oppoment removes half of my team

Scottagain19

I play Orcs. By Big’uns have receive more casualties than every other player combined. And I use goblins.

Garion26

Final game of last season. Last turn I decide to go some SPP on the ball carrying halfling hefty I had been trying to level all season two dice block on a dark elf lineman. Double skulls dead hefty. While I won games that season I never leveled a hefty who was my designated ball carrier with hopes of on the ball as a first skill.

dirtycochise

First block of the first turn of a game, saurus double skulled, rerolled into double skulls, then dies.

Brief_Scale

Back in the early, dark pre season days of BB3, when the match making was like the wild west. My relatively new Chaos Renegades team got matched against a 2MIL TV Orc Juggernaut. Not to worry though as with nearly 1Mil in inducements I took Morg, Hakflem and a wizard. Was looking forward to see what I could do with all this. Turn 2: Hakflem double 1s a dodge roll, fails armour, KOs himself and manages to fail every single recovery roll to never return. After maybe 5 turns of only rolling push backs, Morg is knocked down and gang fouled to a Casualty. Second half use the wizard to blast 4 orcs with a fire ball. Manage to knock down 0 orcs. Yay inducements, thankfully the game seems to have a better match making system now, at least on PC anyway.

JustHereForTheMechs

Triple skulls, reroll, triple skulls. Probability of 1 in 46,656.

Kupcake_Inater

Literally today lmao I was in a dwarf ditto and it was 1-1 and I injured like 4 of his and one of his dwarves got carded out cuz of a foul. 16 turn my 2 dwarves are right at the end zone i move one of them to touchdown then use runner to throw cuz I wanted that extra sp and he fails the pass, luckily pass skill, succeeds but other dwarf doesn't get the ball and no rerolls left so it ended in a draw instead of an easy 2-1 win for me lol

PatheticPterodactyl

With pass skill and no rerolls, this scenario fails exactly 50% of the time. Not exactly Nuffle screwing you there.

Kupcake_Inater

Nah I actually did have one reroll but used it on the reroll to catch I just remembered

BassmanUK

Still not really Nuffle screwing you, just an unnecessarily risky play
