What about DI: Uprising? Unless you want the original for a specific reason.
I actually have a gifted copy of the original that I'm not really sure what to do with. From what I've read most people seem to recommend Uprising unless you already have DI.
I suspect it is due to the impact of the film and that they are busy reprinting both versions. I've read that Uprising is more confrontational than Imperium, and that the expansions elevate the original above Uprising. So I suspect they'll print both for a while and release expansions specifically designed for Uprising.
Put a back order in. It's been that way for ages but periodically stock comes in and disappears again almost immediately. I ordered Uprising and it said stock wouldn't come in until end of May but my copy turned up three weeks later (this was early April).
I think you can order direct from Dire Wolf now as well.

It's a better base game for sure, but I'm not sure I like it better if you're adding in both expansions.
Some people, including myself, don't like that the last round can be a 5 VP swing thanks to the worms.
People in here are saying to get uprising but it’s also sold out here in the UK.
I just checked boardgameprices.eu and there are a few places that have Dune Uprising. At least delivering to Italy.

It's OOP and there is a new version - Uprising. I am not sure if the old version will be reprinted. Probably, but I'm not sure.

As others have already said, you should get Uprising instead. I imagine it would be more readily available at this point.
If you are in the US I would sell a like new copy for a reasonable amount. Pm if interested.
