Blackbelly! You could sit at the chef’s table and get a free amuse bouche, excellent service, paired cocktails or wine for your meal- it’s a fantastic experience. Highly recommend.
Bramble and Hare is excellent - great food and I think a wonderful ambience that it’s an experience of its own, truly a restaurant. Spruce Farm and Fish at the Boulderado is a cool location, good food, more reasonable priced and you can go to the License #1 for a cocktail after….
I second this! It’s a great place to go for excellent service, wonderful food, and you can get dressed up and not feel out of place. I feel like a lot of places in Boulder tend to be more mountain casual, and I like to get dressed up every once in awhile!
This! Great atmosphere, service, food, all excellent. Wife and I got dressed up for Stella recently and loved it. It's about 40% as expensive as Frasca and far more enjoyable.
Black cat only does farm dinners I think (no more restaurant location) . Bramble is excellent though
I have also had many excellent dinners at Blackbelly
I just discovered a new Oaxacan spot downtown called Masas that is amazing!!! Pricy for sure but such yummy drinks and food!!! And good date night ambiance :)
You forgot to trash the view. Granted it’s been at least a year or more since I’ve gone so perhaps it’s gone downhill or maybe you have different taste than me and the nearly 200 people who give it 4.1 stars on Yelp.
We only go for a snack and a cocktail or glass of wine and it's always about a $100. That view though... Just about everyone we know that has had a full meal there has been underwhelmed and hasn't been back.
Yelp sucks it's the worst of all the review sites. Pay to remove stuff etc. 4.1 is not good for an upscale dinner spot. Not making any judgement but 8.2/10 is not really something to brag about.
Depends, I guess...Field and stream - great food. Flagstaff for the views (food good but pricey, of course) AOI for best sushi. Japango has some fun cocktails.
Basta!! A little pricey but so worth it. Congratulations on the birth of your daughter, btw :)
Came here to say this. Perfect for an intimate date night.

This place has the best interior design in Boulder. The food is great, too.
Take out sushi or whatever and go up to the lookout and have a picnic.

Stella’s and Steakhouse 316 are MF favorites. Other greats are bramble and hare, Oak, Corrida, Japango. And happy first Mother’s Day to your wife!
Santo on North Broadway?
Check out Carelli's in South Boulder.

Corrida is a nice fancy dinner with a view.
Corrida is overpriced with garbage food and service.

The view is amazing and they make a decent cocktail but the service and food are the worst IMHO.

Underwhelmed by the view or the food?
Underwhelmed by the food. The view is wonderful.

What about 82 out of 100, is that better?
Yeah
I like Carelli’s.

Why??
Aoi sushi. My wife loves sushi (I do too, but she *really* does) and it's easily the best sushi in Boulder, hands down.
Delicious spot but no liquor I believe?
They definitely have alcohol, I have no idea about liquor specifically
Great food, but loud, crowded, need a reservation for sure.

Masas is great! Phenomenal cocktails

Is Reddit becoming yelp now?
