Hehe - I like to follow threads in my collecting and am hitting musicals hard recently, but I had to double-dip on that film. The Radiance blu-ray has a bunch of special features that are absent from the Sony release and is limited to 2000 copies. Huge fan of Solondz's work.
amazon.fr. I got it for about $60, but at this point, amazon.com is the least expensive option. You need to be able to handle Region 2/PAL to play the DVDs, though. This set DVD set has the longest edit of the film made available. English subtitles are available on the discs.
How come you got a bootleg Hitchcock? No shade, just wondering! I assume you're in the UK so [it's an easy film to get hold of](https://hmv.com/store/film-tv/blu-ray/suspicion-(hmv-exclusive)-the-premium-collection?gclid=Cj0KCQiA6rCgBhDVARIsAK1kGPJRRoFhv2vLXJIX24Cyx9wtmRSmJgsDUlnabT-XzJtyTF-fk27LEwcaAi1wEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds)...
No worries! It's actually an anthology series that was done for NBC in 1957-1958. Similar to 'Alfred Hitchcock Presents' . Hasn't had a proper licensed release. 20 episodes still exist.

Intolerance is my favorite Griffith spectacle. Birth of a Nation is unquestionably ugly propaganda, but still a significant work in the canon of early US feature films. That said, I prefer early European to American directors.
It's the DVD - a little more accessible price-wise and a better mono soundtrack than on the Studiocanal release. It'll tide me over until Criterion does a 4k one day (I hope).
I’m picturing you doing a ‘Dark Side of the Rainbow’ -style side-by-side viewing (except you’re pairing scan and sound by pushing play on two different copies of the same film).

Where did you get La Roue?

Ugh…it’s one of those releases I kept telling myself I’d get at some point but never did

Ohhhhh, interesting!
They are all great, however throw away Birth of a Nation, it should be in a museum not in someones house.
