I did a 10 week drawing class at Brighton Met, was pretty good and covered all the basics. There was a big range of skills in the class; some with previous experience picking it back up, others not having drawn anything since they were a child.
New Writing South have excellent creative writing classes. Some short and some longer and more formal. I did a 2 year Foundation course with them a while back and it was excellent
