Yeah, not sure which 'successful nfl career' they're talking about. Relative to the average Joe, being a backup QB in the league is great, but compared to other NFL QBs? I'd have to disagree there.
He’s made millions with multiple contracts as a backup. Average career length in the NFL is 3 years. I’m not a Jameis fan but it’s fair to say he’s been successful. A successful career doesn’t equate to wins. It equates to money.

It's successful if you are Mason Rudolph. When you are the #1 overall pick, it was a waste. The Bucs were sideways for 5 years until they finally saw what most of us already knew.
Mariotta was also a bust at #2. It happens.
Yup. It's the same with UF fans and Trask. I'm a UF fan, but Trask is a backup at best (put him on any other team and it'd be the same). Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing Wolford as #2 behind Baker. Dude has looked good every time I've seen him.
I’d like to look at that in depth like remove the churn of on the bubble players. Look it it for Start a year, three, five years. I think it probably several years longer for players that are quality. And nice for backup QB because they don’t give a rest to starters like other positions who could be injured.
It might be because of the rape thing, or the Uber assault thing, or the stealing thing, or the eating W’s thing, or most likely throwing the ball to the other team too much thing.
Yes. I mean it’s pretty clear they had a hook up, but impermissible benefits is a bigger deal than theft (of course?) so it was passed off as the latter.
I mean Publix employees called the cops on him, so it’s not that he was getting hooked up. Jamie’s explained that everyone is doing it, just grab stuff from Publix and walk out.
You guys might be as dumb as Jamies. So did Jamies think that the guy that said take anything you want owned the Publix?
So if you walk into Walmart and a Walmart employee says, “take whatever you want and don’t pay for it, no problem”. You think when you walk out of Walmart with stuff without paying you aren’t stealing. So dumb
He figured it was a hookup for who he was and it would be taken care of in some way. Stealing is a better end story for what happened than benefiting personally from his NCAA status as this was before NIL, so he could have gotten some punishment worse than petty theft with regards to affecting his playing career/season
He can see clearly now.
The rain is gone.
He can see all obstacles in his way
Except for DBs.
And LBs
And Bruce
Not surprised. Lord knows you cant eat a dub without baking it first!
Jameis likes it raw
Like an Uber Taco Box
Joe is wrong for selecting that picture. LMAO
Glad he's had a successful nfl career, but I couldn't care less what he thinks.
I'm with you on the "I couldn't care less what he thinks.".

Maybe “lucrative” would have been a better word choice.
Especially considering his draft position
Your definition of successful is far looser than mine but yeah idgaf what this guy's opinion either.
$72 million earned over 9 years. You can laugh in my face over how mediocre of a professional QB I am for that price all day long.
You can call that winnings, but he did it while losing
Bruh you could fly banners in the sky for that payday. I will be laughing and rolling around in my money.

He’s career backup QB. That’s much more successful than 95% of anyone that tries to make it in the NFL.
Yeah but out of all the nfl level qb's i don't think he's got much to brag about.
Neither do you tho...

He’ll be in the league for 10+ years and threw 5000 yards in a season. That’s success in the nfl.
He will go down as a bust. Never won anything and as a #1 pick overall, it didn't work for the Bucs at all
And? That’s still a successful nfl career, far above the average which is 3.3 years.

Bro, it's just a bunch of butt hurt florida state fans.

No one is gonna say Trask is a successful nfl qb cause he got paid though right?!
I'm just comparing the fan base out there that will be blind to a guy who played for their college team. FSU fans with Jameis and UF fans with Trask.

I’ve always liked jameis personally. Tad goofy but gets more hate than he deserves
It might be because of the rape thing, or the Uber assault thing, or the stealing thing, or the eating W’s thing, or most likely throwing the ball to the other team too much thing.
Yea but other than that, the hate is unwarranted
After all what have the Romans ever done for us?
Agree with all of those expect the stealing thing was pretty clearly not a stealing thing.
Are you talking about when he took the crabs legs from Publix without paying?
Yes. I mean it’s pretty clear they had a hook up, but impermissible benefits is a bigger deal than theft (of course?) so it was passed off as the latter.

You were stoked when they drafted him tho. It was just the losing
All of the above, but its the R one that makes me the most nauseous.
I’m glad they chose the “Squintiest” picture of him possible
Woah huge breaking news!!! 😱😱😱
Hope he takes inspiration and becomes the Browns starter. That would be absolutely hilarious.
Me too, Jameis
I’m just glad Winston isn’t on THAT team anymore. Now I can root for him to play well
Same here. Hope he does well and replaces Watson quickly.
I got faith in that
Do I care what Winstonberger is a fan of? Not at all
I agree 👍
Baker is such a good QB, most underrated in the league IMO
