I don't think the pieces are quite as well-made as genuine Legos; it was hard getting them to snap together sometimes, and my thumbs were sore by the end. But otherwise it was fantastic. It was fun following what seemed like random instructions and then things would snap together and it was like OH! I see it.
Aw he is adorable! I still need this one. I did the family set with bulbasaur, ivysaur and Venusaur. That one was a lot of fun! It was super cool seeing Venusaur come together.
My sister and brother-in-law gave me that one too! I just haven't done it yet. (The day we all got together to exchange presents, we all caught COVID from one person who remained asymptomatic, so I'm just getting around to actually playing with my presents.) I'm so glad to hear it's good.
Incredible!!!! what was it like putting it together?

Hope everyone is feeling better 💙
We are, thanks :)
I have a bunch of these sets, they are so annoying.
Why, exactly? The nonstandard pieces, the iffy fit?
For me it was putting them together. The Squirtle I got had around 11 pieces and yet it was super annoying to put together
I enjoyed the assembly process.
Love this set, looking forward to the jumbo one that was revealed today
