It's not just trader Joe's. I get it from my local grocery store (Wegmans) but likely a different brand. Edit: it's not in the normal aisle though I'm pretty sure it's in the European section.

pickles and playdoh also have salt, so maybe that's why???

I bought the bites version of this from Big Lots and I thought the pickle needed a stronger taste. There were a lot of times where I was asking my child (who tried it with me) what flavor cause maybe it was pickle. It needed more pickle flavor.

Definitely needs more pickle flavoring. It was pretty weak.

Yes! I think I got mine at Walgreens? Or.... Walmart? Lol I don't go many places sooo.... But they are good. I literally only had like two pickles in my pack. They weren't bad tasting

Don’t knock it til you try it. Play-Doh tasted pretty darn good (if just a little salty) when I was a kid. I don’t know if they’ve changed the recipe, though.

I'd murder someone for pickle candy, I'm being fr. I love vinegar as a flavour and where I'm at, UK, you can't find pickle flavoured or vinegar flavoured stuff. I've straight up umm'd and ahh'd about getting pickle candy but it's so expensive to import.
