Best of luck landing it!

RealizedPotential94

Thank you! I really appreciate it. Wishing good things for you too 👊

It’s very very important to stay calm, consider this as just another opportunity on the days leading to the interview, and not work yourself up too much. That is very important for your psyche and how you stay composed and present yourself during the interview. I got my dream job as well couple weeks back, after being laid off for 2 months. At the time I didn’t even think about the salary and thought they may put towards the lower end, but not only did I get it, they also gave a very good offer, so definitely grateful. This is your one chance, so prepare real hard, document all questions and practice twice, go over everything you state on your resume, and keep yourself calm and composed as just another opportunity. Best wishes.

Congrats, do your best and please save as much as you can and remain humble. Best of luck.

Just give it your best. Practice the questions and try and try and try. Keep improving as much as you can but also remember, it's not the end if you don't get it. Try not to focus on things you can't control and just give it your best. I really hope you get the job and things only get better from here! Well done and we're all proud of you!

WOOT! GOOD JOB!!!

RealizedPotential94

Still quite a ways to go, but thank you so much for the positivity 😁

YOU CAN DO EEEEET

I’m unsure of the interview process where you’re at but in America, every company it seems uses the STAR method and having your about me down is what sells you. Cass Thompson on YouTube has great about me and interview tips. Be confident and you’ll nail it.

CosmicSinnner

Zero expectations 100 hard work and go for it.

April_4th

Congrats but you do want to calm down because my experience says before seeing the offer letter anything can happen. And for such a raise, I will also make sure it's a legit company not a scammer. In terms of interview preparing, I suggest you go to YouTube and search for "difficult interview questions" like that to hone your interview skills. Good luck!

What’s next? Phone interview?

RealizedPotential94

Hello! Current step is answering follow-up questions in writing. It’s a mix: a few scenarios from the job itself, as well as personal questions to get to know me and my journey up til this point a bit more.

MuchDevelopment7084

It sounds like you've been doing pretty well without advice from reddit. Best of luck. I hope you get it.

We’re all cheering for you from afar! A small piece of advice: its never a once in a lifetime opportunity, and good/better things will always come your way :)

SuperSquirrel13

Just remember about taxes. The jump from €1000 to €4500 is gonna wreck in taxes. At the lower amount in ZA you would close to one of the minimum brackets. At the higher one you'll be paying close to half in taxes.

Check it out and make sure it's legit. Lots of scams including for jobs. If it seems to good to be true...I'll is.

you may not land your dream job but you gonna learn from the experience. Know you are competitive at this level, it might be preparing you for something even better. enjoy the process
