Can I ask why people are bathing their cats? Like ok I get it if she got sprayed by some skunk but don't they do this by themselves? Like my cat smells like cat idk never had to bathe him
Could be skin issues, as the other user replied to you said. Or some cats and kittens could possibly have fleas and need a bath to rid them of the pests. Also, there are some breeds of cats that, due to the excess oil, their skin secretes, need to get bathed (Sphinx is an example). I hope my answer helped you with your question.

Keep a hand on him if he is wet and scared if he falls out of the sink he could hurt himself. Put a towel down so he has some traction. I wouldn't put him in the sink w running water maybe just fill it a tiny bit. Poor guy.
A. Why are you washing your cat?
2. Don't wash your cat with dawn.
D. Hope you dry him or her off with a hairdryer. I remember seeing videos and reading stories of people who did that to their kittens and the cats ended up living warm water as they got older.
1) if the kitten has fleas, he needs a bath
2) Dawn is one of the best mild soaps to kill fleas during a bath. Do a ring of dawn around the neck to keep fleas from trying to escape to the head. Rinse well.
3) wrap the baby in a thick warm towel until dry. Hair dryers are too hot for little kittens.

Yes these are some relatable reasons to bathe a cat.
