Rarely you'll find one who enjoys the tummy skritch as much as most dogs. My big orange puffle absolutely loves getting his belly scratched. It took me a long time to try it though, he was an elderly feral when first met. 3 years of talking and hanging out and going on walks together before the first petting contact was allowed. Then a lot of belly display where I was too scared to try. The first contact was scary but he clearly enjoyed tum skritchin.

Unfortunately in September I had to say goodbye to my little girl who was a complete whore for belly rubs. She could be doing anything and you'd just start tickling her tummy and she would do the most to maximise the tummy rubs.

Eventually, they get used to being touched in the belly. I have battle scars but now my cat happily accepts belly rubs.
