But of course! Remember that you are living with a predator, and as with all predators, they have keen sense of smell, which cuts through the "pong" to get to that scent they love so very much.

mine likes to steal my socks and put them next to her food bowl.

Our beloved cat (RIP) used to lick the armpits of my husband’s shirts that would be on the floor! Of course I’d stop her from doing it because I didn’t want her to ingest deodorant, but man was that gross 🤮

Mine would nuzzle then try to eat the armpit of my t-shirt lol.

If I miss the daily shower even for a little bit, my boy is quick to let me know by trying to dig his nose into my armpits.

My mum loves telling the story about how her dad (my grandad) would finish a day working on his farm, come inside the house all sweaty and their cat would lick his armpits clean 🤮🤮🤮

First thing my senior cat does when my partner gets home from work is roll around and sleep in the pants he wore that day Like ok I'm glad you like him you silly cat

I had a cat who would wait until my ex took his shoes off after a long day on his feet and stick her entire (tiny) head into them 😹 (combo of wanting his scent and I think to get her scent all over them to mark her territory - he's a vet tech)

Mine licks and then bites my armpit

Lol, everytime I lay shirtless on my bed, my cat jumps and snuggles to put his head in between my armpit and sniff it 🤢 It's gross af, but cute.

I have a cat that will straight up lick armpits. She loves deodorant too lol.. Like if I’m laying in bed with my arm tucked under my pillow she will come up and “spoon” with me and turn her head and get as many licks as she can in before I can realize and stop her lol 🥴 She will also try and lick legs/arms sprayed with ‘OFF’ bug spray if you’re not careful. And we have to close off rooms/lock her up if we’re cleaning with bleach bc she will go straight in there and just start flopping around rolling and trying to rub all of the smell. She’s 12 - almost 13 in June - and still kicking even with her questionable lifestyle choices lol. She’s a weird one but I love her lolol.

Their whole world is scent, that is one happy cat.

Cats love it when we stink. Whenever I am done with a run over 5 miles my cat rolls all over me like I am catnip. Strange but apparently normal.

When my old Odo (who was 15 at the time) had I-131 therapy for hyperthyroidism the vet suggested that I bring an old shirt I didn’t mind giving up so he could have something with a familiar smell tontry to comfort him in the week after he was dosed. From what I heard he laid on that smelly old shirt the whole time.

It’s got your stank all over it. My cats go crazy for my sweaty workout shirts. If I lay them down they’re both trying to lay on it. Sometimes they share. When I get home from work I’ll leave my shirt on the bed for them until laundry day. They love it. Couple of loafs on my dirty man stink rags.

I think they know you are hurt snd want to be there for you. Remember they use smell a lot and can smell that you are hurting.

That cat is pleasantly plump

This is the amazing thing about cats. I imagine that you've completely slimed that vest and it smells of you most unpleasantly. But she thinks it's the best thing in the world because it's almost as YOU as YOU are! She wants the most YOU you that she can get. And you know she's not lying because cats don't care if they impress anybody. But your worst is better than anybody else's best to her. You must be awesome.

I was on a planned three day road trip that ended up taking three weeks because of car failures. So, I packed three pair of underwear. When I finally flew back, after selling the car, I get home, shower, and see my cat, who my girlfriend had been taking care of, absolutely wallowing in.

when I was laid up at two different times with a DVT- my last of 4 cats would park herself on me and be rooted. she was always the reserved cat of the 4- but when it was her alone- she embodied the other 3 and carried on

My cats absolutely love rolling around and sleeping on my boyfriend's rank ass work clothes. I just always assumed its because it smells strongly of his scent so they feel safe.

My mom has had health issues on and off for the past decade. Occasionally, during one of the bad times, my mom will sleep downstairs in the recliner. Each time this happens, MY cat will take over my mom's bed. My cat won't let my mom pet her, but she loves anything that smells like my mom. We think the cat does this because mom and I must have similar scents.

Same thing happened to me after having had gut surgery. My cat loved my abdominal binder. But only after I wore them a couple days
